Bro's, which protein is the best for the quality, price and quanity??

I've seen on this thread $50 for this many pounds & $60 for this many pounds? How many grams of the product to the serving? Seems like everybody out there is ripping people off by 60grms per serving of protien!!!!!!!!!!! But how many grams of the product per serving? 2 cups? So far.........protienfactory seems the shit. I could be wrong here though. I'd like to see some long time bean counters on the board break this down. Whey, Iso, CFM & all that shit involved. I wonder how protein factory really stacks up against the people with the pretty labels. Mass Quantities? Don't you have to take Mass Quantities = Mass Quantities of Money to get a Good Quality of Protein in mass quantities?

A search on this would have gotten good results. To answer your question, it depends. When do you take your protein? Post workout? Meal replacement? If it is for post workout then a quality whey protein (I like deigner protein) is the best. If you are using the protein for a meal replacement then whey is not good at all. It enters and leaves the gastointestinal tract far to quickly and won't give you a steady supply of aminos until your next meal. Your best is to go with a protein that contains casein (I like met-rx). Hope this helps.

I love this question. Looking through all 28 years of experience, and talking to all the competitors I've known, the best bang for the buck--Protein wise--is Cottage Cheese..the 4% variety...the linoleic acid in the cheese is excellent plus the whey and casein. You just have to acquire a taste for it. There are many great ways to make palatable.

I like tha mass q triple threat.

That's what I use also - every couple of months George offeres $10 of each 6lb container also. And shipping is free if you order more than 3 at a time. Very economical.

The Protein Factory is awesome. For normal protein shakes, I like a 50/50 mix of Whey Concentrate and Soy Isolate protein. You can derive the different stand out benefits of both types of protein while minimizing the lactose intake from the whey concentrate. Immediately post-workout, it's especially important to take in carbs and quick-digesting protein while minimizing fat intake, so I like a 50/50 mix of Whey Isolate and Soy Isolate then. And before bed, a slow-digesting protein is best, so Milk Isolate fits the bill for me there. Average cost per pound for all this quality protein powder? Five dollars and change.
