Where does it fit in your diet? And what exactly does it do for you?

Fiber bro... fiber.

Keeps ya regular :)

Lots of antioxidents too I believe, good stuff... LOW calorie, eat a cup full with some chicken and a potato... great meal.

Vegetables of all colors should be in our daily diets, should be... hard, but should be when possible.

Seriously broc is one of the best veggies you can eat - and eat a lot.
Can't handle the bloat? Get some beano - it really works.

It's also great for your skin - eat a head a day and you'll note the difference in about 3 weeks.

I've grown to like broccoli throughout the years. And broccoli rabe too. Slow cooked with chicken broth, drizzled with olive oil. Loaded with phytochemicals; glucosinolates, dithiolthiones, indoles, glucoraphanin, S-Methyl Cysteine Sulfoxide, isothiocyanates, and indole-3-Carbinol.

A diet of 100 grams or 3 ounces of broccoli sprouts per day has been shown to be a liver detoxifier as well as a preventer of breast, prostate, and colon cancer. Helps rebuild damaged skin, up to 20% more protection against cardiovascular disease, helps prevent cataracts, gets rid of ulcers and prevents age related bone diseases. Good stuff all around.

Good post...and another good thing about it is it contains DIM, which can help flush bad estrogens and metabolize good estrogens.

I don't eat enough of it

Fibrous veggies will not hurt you any time on a diet. In fact, usually insignificant calorie wise.

Help you feel a bit more satiated.

1-2 cups is ideal with meals.
