Bfold - About Leg Extensions

my quad workout starts with squats, then a few sets of leg presses to realy kill the quads, then i end with leg extensions.

i like them a lot, you can realy feel it and i think theyre good for hypertrophy, especially if you hold the contraction at the top
 
I'm working on getting them, I can't put a dumbbell between my feet, because I dont have anything high enough to sit on.
 
I do them about 3-10x per year...for higher reps mostly and not near failure. Sometimes when I have knee problems or am focusing on some sort of sled drag or harness pull...I will do 4 sets of 25-50 on leg extensions.

I have a piece of crap Weider bench...with a leg ext attachment on it. I'd probably use some sort of band if I didn't use the leg ext attachment.
