Just read a article today about the high levels of MERCURY in canned tuna- especially canned albacore more than light tuna. The main warning was for pregnant women so if anyone's wife or GF is pregnant, the article said no more than 5OZ of canned tuna per week because of the mercury levels in the fish.

This probably isn't such a big health problem for your average person's tuna consumption, but I know myself and alot of others eat tuna in large amounts and it may pose a threat- AD

Looks like I'm a walking thermometer. Seriously boss, don't put to much thought into articles like this. There are studies done it seems like every friggin week that just about everything is gonna kill you. If you listened to em all you wouldn't eat, shit, walk outdoors, or take an airplane trip. Remember, aspirin has been proven to cause gastrointestinal bleeding at doses about half of what they recommend, but you don't see any huge articles spouting off about this. Why? Cuz the fucked up pharmecutical companies wouldn't make as much money. Losers.

Remember that move 'Prophesy'? With the mutant Grizzly Bear & mutant new born human babies & shit? All caused by mercury.......OMG........you think this is an OMEN? We are all going to breed MUTANT NINJA TURTLES? OMG.......get your swords out.

Easy now :D I didn't say the stuff would kill you. But I have known people to try and survive on tuna alone and in that case either the flatulence or the mercury will kill you first :p

I've heard of this too. Is the mercury in the tuna(albacore) or is it from the can? I recently switched to tuna in a pouch anyone think this would solve the problem?

i switched to the new tuna in a packet cause i kept getting bad canned tuna smelled and tasted bad, some worse than others. anyways the packet tuna tastes way better

i heard that 6 months ago... i slowed my tuna eatings since then just like the show said like 1nce a week peace smurf
