Best way to loss overall body fat?

I am doing 1 hour cardio exercises 4 times and week, along with good diet. Is this a good way to loss overall body fat? If not, what is the best way? How long would it be until I see any changes?
 
Throw in an ECA stack into the mix. Within 6 months you should be seeing results, maybee sooner depending on youre genetics, that youre very happy with. And if you do it without those stupid Fad diets, it will stay off..

if you're exercising, healthy diet and cardio 4-5 times/week, you should see result(changes) in a month.
 
also, I am not fat, i am just a little chubby and soft. i look pretty skinny in clothes. it's just that i have realllllly fat thigh and real soft butt. you think it would still take 6 months?
 
my current diet:
9AM - 5 PM : SCHOOL ( I don't eat anything in school, only water )

5PM : (1 bowl of rice and some meat and vegetables)

5PM - 9 PM: a small snack, usually a can of soda or a bottle of Snapples

9 PM: (1 bowl of rice, meat soup, and some side dishes )

12 PM: sleep

any suggestions?

Yes..CHANGE YOUR DIET!!!! 9-5 with out eating anything, that is just pure retarded. Have smaller snacks through out the day and you HAVE TO eat breakfast. Why not get up early and have a protein shakes with some plain oatmeal, then bring a can of tuna or some chicken in your lunch with maybe a little rice. Get home and go to the gym then have some chicken and rice or pasta and some kind of lean red meat. then do not eat any more carbs for the rest of the night. a lot of carbs such as rice 3 hours before bed is very bad cause you are in-actvie at that time which leaves the possability of them being stored as fat, I suggest a protein shakes before bed. Also take some vegatbes to snack on at school. I would try to get 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight and no more then 150 carbs a day max if you are trying to cut down your body fat. Cardio in the morning is the best as it will raise your metabolism through out the day and hit the gym when you get home. I do not reccomend and E/C/A at your age but if you decide to use it then use LESS then the recommended dose. Go to www.cyberdiet.com or www.dietwatch.com and find the butritional values of food you eat.

how about this?

8AM: a bowl of cereal

6PM - 8 PM: GYM, 1 hour of cardio, 1/2 hour of weight lifting

DROP the Fruit before bed cause of the high amount of natural sugar. STAY AWAY from that shit candy bar, chips ect...they are a NO NO when trying to cut up. Prepare the meals that night in advance if you do not have time in the morning. You need to do some serious diet research. I would rather see the oatmeal in the morn then the cereal but if you do have cereal the stay away from the sugary shit

on your cutting cycle how many grams of carbs do you consume daily? Oh and when you eat your oatmeal in the mornings do you use milk or water?

YOU MUST MAKE SACRAFICES

DON'T BE LAZY, IF YOUR LAZY YOU'LL BE FAT FOREVER!!! ok unless you are sitting in the same seat all day which i highly doubt, you should be able to mow down at least a protein bar in between classes (a low carb one to) this is my suggested diet for you:
breakfast have a protein shake and some flax seed oil and some oatmeal
throughought the day eat 2-3 protein bars, then after class eat chciken and brown rice or yams (only an amount equal to your fist) then the next two meals do not eat any carbs, just protein (ie. meat) and a teaspoon of flax seed oil. plus do cardio in the mornings and lift weights 3 times a week at night!
 
I lost 40 pounds in 4 months and put on a LOT of muscle at the same time just by cutting way back on fat intake and doing about the same amount of cardio as you. Make sure you do your cardio in the morning on an empty stomache if you can. I took ECA the whole time, this really helped curb my appetite.
 
that diet is insane man.. you'll burn much more fat if u can somehow squeeze in a small
snack every 2.5-3 hours.. just something small. maybe get some protein bars.. eat during class or somethin. its hard to burn fat when u aren't eatin.. your metabolism is probably really slow.

Worst diet ever! First, Definately have breakfast, even if you have to get up a little earlier, do it. If you really don't have time in the morning, how about drinking about 16 oz of skim milk. Dairy products are not great for when your trying to lose fat, but it's probably still better than not having any breakfast. Second, I know it's hard to find time to eat when you have class, I've been there. Try bringing a couple of protein shake or protein bars to school with you. Carry em in your bag and have it between classes. I know your only 16 so you may not have the funds to buy expensive shakes or bars, so buy cheap ones. They may taste like shit, but as long as they are low in fat and sugar, they will be better than nothing. Third, lose the soda and snapple, drink water instead. Fourth, like Mustang_18 said forget the fruit late at night. It will be stored as bodyfat. have some chicken, tuna, or a protein shake before bed. Good Luck!
 
Listen to M18 he knows what he is talking about... You cant have the late night carbs like CEREAL before bed if you are trying to cut up... A protein shake wouldn't be a bad idea. There's go to be some way to eat lunch at school, you can't possibly have class throught the day with no lunch break for even 15-30 minutes.... Things like Canday, soda, and chips will only do the opposite of what you want - make you fatter. . . . If you absolutely cant bring a lunch to school for whatever retarded reason that may be (not saying you are retarded, but rather that your school is retarded) then prepack a protein shake and something else healthy but small in one of those lunch bags that you can put a cold pack in so things dont get nasty....

anywhere from 15-45 minutes depending on how in shape you are.... work your way up by 5 minutes or so each week, if possible....

You are wasting these guys' time. They offer suggestion...you appear to refuse...What do you mean you can't do cardio in the AM before school-RUN. What do you mean you can't eat during school-MRP shake or bar. LUNCH-I'm sure your schedule allows plenty of time you just don't care.

Diet is horrible.

Eat something in the morning to keep your body out of starvation mode. with an ECA and a clean diet, you should see results in like 2 months. I lost like 35lbs in a little over 2 months with xenadrine.

When cuting I eat between 5-75 carbs a day taken in in the morn and post workout only and when bulking I eat no more then 250 carbs a day max. I mix my oatmeal with water and add 2 scoops of protein to the mix

first, I never said I can't run before school. when yum suggested the idea of running before school, i agreed and asked him how long I should run. Learn to read please before you flame. 2nd, I have 8 classes to cover in approximately 6 hours and 45 minutes. do the math will ya?

i work 8-12 hours a day, depends on what the job calls for, and i too am a full time student...not some bullshit college, law school, full time. and i MAKE the time to eat and work out, because I WANT IT THAT BAD.

I wanna know why you can't eat a proper lunch at school ? It is not because you don't have time to eat at school cause that is BS...You have lunch and between classes to eat and I know for a fact that you do not have 8 classes back to back with no break. Second, if you do not have time to prepare your meals to eat at school in the morn before you leave then make them the night before and take them to school with you, it's that simple. Stop making excuses and just do it!

try not eating that many carbs, have some all bran cereal in the morning or something with low fat milk, and a bunch of egg whites, then stick to low carb, high protein, moderate fat for the rest of the day, do cardio no more than 5 times a week, 40 min. per session
also, add a HITtraining routine to your week that'd workout well i think, like two-three days of heavy lifting, focusing on compund movement excercises like deadlifts, squiats, military press, bench press... etc...
drink lots of water... try and get Xenadrine, if you're budgeting as most of us youngsters are, try and get some cheap ass ECA stack that'd work well

That is good info but at his age I would really try to stay away from E/C/A for now and if he does choose to take it then use the minimum dose. That stuff can be very dangerous if not used correctly

You just can't go without any food during that entire time you are at school. Here is the problem with missing meals for long periods of time, and it is the reason why people that go on starvation diets often don't lose much and gain it all back the minute they slip: Their metabolism slows way down and goes into starvation mode.

Believe it or not you can actually lose much more fat by consuming more calories, by spacing those calories out into several smaller meals.

You can make a meat sandwich or sandwiches at home and take it to school. Wolf them down between classes and wash them down with skim milk and lots of water.

Always have a good breakfast including lots of complex carbs like oatmeal or other non sugared cereal. This is very important to get your metabolism moving. Fruit is ok with breakfast, but not too much. Eggs with breakfast are great, if you can leave out some of the yolks it is better since yolks contain lots of fat.

Cardio is great for fat loss but the best way to lose fat is to do both cardio and weight training. Lifting weights increases your metabolism by allowing you to build lean mass (muscle). Each pound of muscle you gain will burn 30 extra calories every day. That means you can eat more without putting on fat.

If you can get up in the am and run for 1/2 hour before breakfast, your metabolism will stay high the rest of the day. Doing cardio also helps get your metabolism up, which is one of the reasons why it is good to do it in the morning before eating. Another reason is that in the am before eating your body is low on glycogen, and you can burn a high percentage of fat by exercising at this time.

if you actually do start waking up early in the morning and doing cardio, then you could cut out the cardio before you work out and just do the workout and htne you'll haev an extra hour or so to get another healthy meal in...

Sounds like your mental attitude is all wrong bro. Listen to Mustang, he knows his shit. I agree that you saying you can't fit in a decent meal at school is BS. If you were dedicated you could, tell the teachers that you have low blood sugar and must have some sort of food every 2.5 to 3 hours, but don't bring a lunch plate, bring something easy and simple. Example... Tuna Sandwich(Tuna made with low-fat mayonnaise or sour cream, none of that good fattening stuff, also use only whole wheat bread) That right there is all your protein and carbs. Do some research and find simple things like that. You can't tell me you don't have time to scarf a sandwich between class. You will get out of this what you put in it. You must MAKE time to workout and eat right. I personally work 10 hours a day and have a family, yet I still get my workouts and meals. If it means you have to cook and prepare your food at night when you would normally be watching your must see TV, then that is what you have to do. If it means getting up to run at 5am so you have time to get back and shower and get ready, then that is what you must do. Like I said, you get out what you put in. If you do it half assed, you get half assed results. Good luck.

the highschool I go to is a bit more advanced and gayer than other schools in the city. It's a college prep and only allows qualified students to get in, even though it's a public school. The whole school time is divided into 20 different "mods", each mods are either 20 or 15 min long. This "mod" system lets students to make their own schedule, you can choose what classes to take with teachers of your choice, if available, and what mods to take. The school board doesn't really care how many and what classes you take and when you take them as long as you are qualified for the classes and meet the graduation requirement. So there's no pre-defined lunch time, anyone can eat their lunch anytime they want. The problem I have is that My first class begins on the 4th Mod and I have ZERO mod free until the 20th mod. Yes, it was my mistake but I never planned to take 8 classes, I wanted lunch too, I only chose 7 classes but I had to add another class later on to make up for a class I failed last year.

This is my plan:
20 mins of running and a bowl of non sugar cereal before school
2 cheap protein bars during school
low carb/fat meal after school
GYM
low carb/fat snacks after GYM

that's what i'm planning on doing, or some DNP maybe, but you're trying to stay natural...
beef jerky and those pepperoni sticks are good keto snacks i guess and easy to take with ya and eat
 
man i am the worst when it comes to going hours on end without eating... my metabolism pretty much stays the same though... i wanna try and divide my calories over at least 5 meals a day and see what that does for me... i read that animabolics link... dunno about that... i think it depends on the individual, and still you have to see what works best for you.

Yeah, great advice there, keto diet, DNP!!! to an absolute beginner.

Dude chubbay, listen, it's not very complicated at your age. Just try to eat healthier than snackbars and soda, and do it a few more times during the day, and don't skip lunch.

It doesn't sound like you have much, if any experience exercising so try that first and you'll be ok. Go out for the track team if you've got one, they'll wip you in shape.

Not a bad plan, you will lose fat by doing that. I would try to get in more food/protein at school. Maybe you can also lug a thermos full of skim milk with you and drink it at school?
