best way to hit lower chest for growth

Everybody is gonna tell you declines , for me, regular flat bench works. I have to go really heavy. I do 3 sets of 8 and on the fourth set I add weight and usually only get about four reps (with help). Then after that I add about 50 or 75 pounds and do two slow negatives.

Agree totally...especially the slow negatives!
 
for overall chest hit the dumbbell flat presses hard and weighted dips. Do each movement with a full stretch (I see SO many guys using dumbells in a half-rep fashion when they allow you to go down to the armpits) and maximum intensity and watch your pecs GROW!

I don't think anybody argues that there is an anatomical separation between the upper and lower chest. The point I and a few other intelligent people here argue is that both parts function as a single unit, cannot be separately targeted short of breaking your neck and severing the innervations, thus for all practical purposes is a single muscle.
 
I have a huge ass crack in both of my biceps. I didn't do any special training to make one head larger than the other, it just came out that way.
