Best "Men's" Clothing Line?

Calvin Klein is the best in my opinion. Price isn't too bad, very verstale, you can basically get any look you want from their line. You name it they make it and make it well.

Polo is nice but best pants are from Diesel !!! They fit- no discussion !!
Greetz

I had a couple pairs of diesel, I wasn't impressed. Abercrombie jeans, believe it or not, fit me better. Half the price too, but we aren't going for price here we are voting for the best...

I'll eventually give diesel another try.

I like DKNY, YMLA and Alfani. All have classy, well-made body conscious clothing:cool:

DKNY is alright, Alfani I dont really like. Alfani to me is just a cheap brand made by Macys to make some extra cash.

J. Crew - Grandparents clothing in revival.

Ambercrombie and Fitch - Brainwashing you into thinking Goodwill clothing is in style.

GAP - Always has and always will suck. Same application as A & F.

Banana Republic - Some good clothing left, but on the verge of being all of the above.

Diesel, DMKY, YMLA - Same.

The point is what you call style and fashion these days was throw away clothing not to long ago. Now people want to buy this crap for a small fortune all because someone said it was a cool look.

Well Said

there is a store called Bancahara in the fashion mall here in indy. has the all time best clothes for a guy. i also like guys in simple things like kahkis and a sweater from Brooks Brothers. You can't go wrong with that.

We have a store called Bachrach here in NW IN. They have some badass cloths but they are very salty in price. More or less for the suit kinda guy....

I usually cant even get my legs in Calvin Klien pants. Seems like they are built for skinny little fuckers.

I like Kenneth Cole but sometimes have problems with his pants too. Ususally go with whatever is comfortable

so what do you wear?

Ralph Lauren, Emporio Armani, Bachrach, Nautica, Perry Ellis, Enro, Pierre Cardin (even though his style is becoming a little waco as of late.)

How can anybody say what is the "best clothing line"?
There is no "best"
Every brand has different clothes that will just look "right" on you.
I go to the mall every couple months or so, pick out 20-30 shirts and try them all on. I'll be lucky to find 3 or 4 that look perfect on me.
DKNY and Kenneth Cole clothes tend to look better on me and my short thick frame and Calvin Klein always tend to be long on me, I have to get CK shirts shorted and tapered. But I've found exceptions in everything. Bottom line is you can find clothes out there from any brand that will look right on you, you just have to take the time and try a shitload on. If you go the mall and buy shirts without taking the time to find the ones that are right for you just because you heard on this board that that brand is "the best", your going to be disappointed

Best place to shop is WallMart.... The chicks really dig a guy who's dressed from head to toe in WallMart clothes... If you don't have a WallMart near you, then Zellers is cool too... Sears isn't bad but it's a bit too high class.

I just look for a quality men's clothing store.
Usually they will have something I like.

Now I just go in and tell them, this is what I'm
looking for, and they will bring me several styles
and brands to choose from.

anything from territory ahead. check territoryahead.com. i like it cause it's sort of outdoorsie and little known.

Kenneth Cole( for some reason I like the way the shirts fit, but not pants, although suits are not bad), Levis(jeans only, xcept that they discontinued me 570's), Old Navy(shirts, pants, sweaters), and if I'm in the mood to be waited on, I just go to Nordstroms and let them bring the stuff to me.

Oh yeah don't wanna be rude since this be me first post....so HI.

i try to stick with the classics like polo, and nautica. but honestly i usually buy the most stylish thing on the clearance rack(hell, at least i'm honest, right?)

this is my breakdown, coming from person who's really into clothes:

Dress pants: Bernini high twist pants ... 10x better than Armani's and half the price these days (they have a sale )
www.bernini.com

Rough Jeans : Diesel/ A&F

Normal Jeans : Leni's silvertab straight leg

Dress shirts: Hugo boss, perry ellis, robert talbott, turnbull and asser, etc.

Athletic shoes, New balance****, Nike***

Muscle tops: internationalmale.com*****, A|X****, T.Reilly***

Polo tops: Lacoste*****, Polo****

Kenneth cole works for clubby shoes and some nice outerwear, DKNY is again good for club apparel, but the things i mentioned are the types of clothes that come in handy under all occasions; shopping for club clothes is a separate deal altogether

Banana Republic is above average is a lot of things (shoes, sweaters, shirts, belts), but they're ont one of the top brands in any one thing; also, they seem to slwoly go towards the GAP trend , so i avoid it

Bachrach is the bomb!

I love Bachrach, they have great clothes when u want to dress up. But Kenneth Cole shoes and clothes are my choice when i'm going out on a date or a club. You can't go wrong with some Polo casual if you're just kickin' it. They make some nice workout clothes too.:)

best = versace by far
but don't even walk inthe store unless you plan on spending $300 for a shirt. too bad i can't afford it.

i prefer A/X and johnny suede

Banana Republic, A&F, and Armani are my top three picks:D

this guy knows what he's talking about. I'm all about A&F and Armani, and the occasional BR thing... havent purchased much BR recently tho. A&F is an ordeal for me because I live in Canada and have to mail order it, which just isn't as handy as walking into the store, trying it on, and paying.

plus the canadian peso is down even more, so it's getting cheaper to buy a porsche than order A&F

Hey! Sounds like we could make a little trade. I'll send you all the A&F you can wear and you can send me one of those Porsche's.
