Best Meal Replacement Shake

What is the Best Meal Replacement Shake

I like the Anabolic MRP from proteinfactory. It isn't entirely water soluble, but it has everything that I need in it. It's not exactly cheap, though.

There are many good ones met rx, sportspharma, labrada etc find one that you like at a good price and go for it. Check out mass quanities on this board they always have specials going.

IMHO,

Myoplex Chocolate Lovers is really hard to beat. That's my fav. Comes in a combo pack

-Rich Dark Chocolate
- Chocolate Mint
- Chocolate Peanut Butter
- Chocolate Mocha

mmmmm... yummy.

Sorry, I'm sure there is......I've just spent all of my time on this board...Trying to figure out about the anabolics.... These things just came to mind while I was reading.... Sorry again.

meso-tech, chocolate tastes so good

I agree (let the flames begin). Although Muscle-Tech is so overhyped, I do believe they make high quality products. I also like the Meso-Tech because it has a lot of Glutamine (10 grams).

I've tried a couple different ones b4 and I would have said that MyoPlex was the best until I tried the MQ 3/60 MRP...at the same price (as the 42 pack from DPS) and the fact it has more servings I think makes it a good deal. Everyone is different...just my .02

ISOPURE is the best no doubt about it. 50 gr of Whey protein isolate,22 gr complex carbs and no fat. Ive had em all and there is no comparison. I drink the chocalate shit and even with water it tastes like hot chocalate. Best tasting shit ive ever had. Its normally kind of pricey but I get the 8.8 lb buckets for 60 and I think they normally go for 80-100 depending where you go. I get it wholesale. Oh the other flavors are delicious too

Muscle Milk !! By Cyto-sport, they also make cytomax.
This stuff taste like Nestle Quick!! Alot of protein, alot of MCT Fats, low carb and low sodium!! Stirs or shakes in water, not thick. Damn I know i sound like a commercial but i love it!!

Kinda cheap to at DPS nutrition it's like 24 bucks for 15 servings!

I'm just about to make a MASS QUANTITIES purchase of 3/60 in vanilla, I hope its good.

The 20% of sale going to red cross is applaudable. Thats a hell of a cut into profits. Nice move George, american style. :)

I mix mine with 50/50 water and orange Sunkist soda. mmmnm....

Some so called MRP's are rediculous as a meal replacement, but often very good post-exercise recovery drinks. I think that almost every "weight gainer" shake falls into this category. Many are great post-exercise recovery shakes. I think that a good one, and probably my favorite, is Twinlabs "Mass Fuel." (The Mass Fuel they make now is ok but the old Lee Haney formula was better.)

Isn't there a supplement board that this and the ripped
fuel thread should be on instead

I disagree. Using these types of supplements properly can be an enormous aid to maintaining anabolism. The anabolic discussion board, a forum for anything related to bodybuilding, seems to me to be a natural place for this discussion. However, the topic "best meal replacement powder" is very vague indeed. Perhaps a more detailed discussion about the anabolic properties of some of these types of supplements is called for...

My favorites are:

1) Leanbody - Chocolate pentutbutter -
2) Mesotech - Chocolate -
3) Myoplex - chocolate lovers pack -
4) Met-rx - original vanilla -

Bye

i agree, isopure products are awesome quality, but they are so expensive

Can I say this here????
I loved Grow but they took it off and replaced it.
Haven't tried the new one.
I also like Dorian Yates Approved MRP.

i have to agree that isopure is my favorite, i like the chocolate/penutbutter swirl flavor. as a matter of fact im drinking one right now!

MQ Triple Threat gives me aweful gas pains....cramps that last for hours and hours. No other protein powder has ever done that to me. I'll stick with Met-Rx....BTW, MQ is the best tasting though.

I stay away from Maltodextrin, so my mrps are a scoop of Labrada V-60 (protein powder blend) with half a cup of oatmeal. You can also add milk instead of water. Very easy to make.

It sounds to me like, Its okay to go ahead and go with a trendy mainstream protein powders like : Myoplex, Labrada, Isopure, MesoTech....etc... right?

Hands down MUSCLE-MEALS by Muscle-Link.
Breakdown is as follows:

Serving (1) packet-73 grams
Protein: 40 grams
Carbs: 12 grams
fat: 11 grams (unsat.-the good kind!)
glutamine peptides- 10 grams
CLA: 1.8 grams
Sugars: 2 grams

Taste is excellent (Chocolate is the best!), price is great, 31.00 a box of 20, from www.dpsnutrition.com when I buy 10 or more boxes.

I think that 73 grams of protein is a bit much for one serving the body can only break down so much at one time, as far as MRP's go, if your trying to bulk i would come up with something on your own,get some high quality protein from www.proteinfactory.com+some maltodextrin and some healthy fats and trow them all in the blender, 600-800 calorie shake should do ya well, thats about all your liver can handle at one time,if your trying to lean out the myoplex stuff is rather good but i feel it's a bit pricey just my opinoin though!

oops sorry i fucked up and read the last post wrong, sorry JACKED JOHNSON.SERVING 73 GRAMS oops
