Best job to put me through college

Which do you think it would be?

I have enough money saved up to do one of the following.
1. Become a bartender
2. Become a DJ
3. Become a personal trainer
4. Become a card dealer

i'm leaning towards personal training and bartending now but wondering if i can do both....

many people have told me i would be a great bartender because of my outgoing personality and ability to relate to almost anyone.

of course i would be a great personal trainer as well.

im looking for about 20 hours a week. maybe a bit more.

what do you guys think would be the smartest pick for a college atmosphere?

Card dealer wouldn't exactly be a college crowd atmosphere, but I've heard it can really payoff if you're a great dealer. My guess would be bartender or DJ if you want to stick with that demographic. Bartending's not gonna make you rich (my dad worked as one when he was about your age, and for many years after as well). Not sure how much money you could make DJing unless you're really, really good (my sister djed in England and it was a hard, long job).

I personally had a ton of fun bartending while in college which helped me become more confident, outgoing, and a pretty easy way to pick up girls. Especially the hot co-ed waitresses & shooter girls. lol I only worked a few days a month but it was a really good source of spending cash and social networking.

You need a stable cash flow when in college. IMO this is the best option. Plus you can do it in the evenings.

I believe he's talking about Forest Service Hot Shot firefighters who are dropped in specific trouble spots. (ie: Tatanka Hot Shots in the Black Hills)

the market is saturated with random douche bags. and in most cases, you pay the gym for the "opportunity" to train clients, so you don't make anywhere near as much as you think.

bartender is a much better idea. people always get drunk. lots of people quit working out.. and the ones who don't generally don't need a trainer to begin with.

Fedex/Ups package handler. Decent pay, both are good companies to work for with future advancement, and both offer tuition reimbursement. If you have a scholarship you should be able to pocket the reimbursement money.

Bar tending will get you more trim though.

i know nothing about it...they were proly contractors, everytime a fed dies they'll do a stand down and we'll get a safety breifing.
don't know anything about this though...on our forest about 3 weeks ago we had a helicopter crew member die. he was rappeling and wasn't proly strapped in, passed through the check points with no one catching it.
dropped str8 to the ground from a 150 foot line, tragic.
