Dude... your fucking hardcore... that shit is pure evil!!!

If someone is the type of person who needs to be "pissed off" to lift, then I suggest listening to some Celine Dion. If that bitch doesn't fire you up, nothing will.:D

I`m not familiar with hardcore anything, but I love it. Someone lent me a CD of System of A Down and it `s pretty good. I don`t really know the name of it. ]

I posted on chat board about one of their songs, "Push the weak around" something like that. I play it about 4 times Every workout.

I`ll try the other ones suggested.

Dude... I work out at Lifetime Fitness and they have specific formats on different days of the week... I was there Saturday night and I guess they had the 40 year old and over contemporary music jamming... Celine Dion, Streisand, and really horrible 80's ballads... I was so fucking pissed I almost had an aneurysm... Try frontsquatting 315 pounds for 15 reps... while Celine Dion is playing... it can't be done...

God, I would die. That's a good reason for working out at home.....Hey! I do....:D

Slipknot
Down The Sun
Dillinger Escape Plan

Others include...

KoRn, System Of A Down, Disturbed, Mudvayne, Converge, Atreyu, Ministry, Spineshank

I could think of more, but not in the mood right now. Try those. They're all insane. Especially Dillinger. Scarily so.

Hey,

First post and I am happy to be a part of this board.

Heavier music definitely helps the workout,

I listen to Deicide- Once Upon The Cross it is pure f*cking hate. I also enjoy heavier radio stuff, but I cant really stand the mindless beats of techno and stuff.

Deicide is some hardcore shit... are you into Grindcore at all?

yeah man, I dig some grindcore, goregrind, porno grindcore etc. My main thing is deathmetal because of the intensity of everything which really seems to get me pumped. Another genre of music that should be played in every gym is thrashmetal and all it takes is one word......

Slayer

evanesence
stained
project 86
and eminem

X

Metallica, Pantera, Clawfinger ("the biggest the best" is by far the best lifting song), Fear Factory, Slayer, Cannibal Corpse

I am a little psychotic from this shit

Lots of good tunes listed here...

If I had to pick 3 it would be Zombie (White or Rob), TOOL, and System of a Down... Marylin Manson and NIN are awesome too...

Here is an oldie but a goodie- Suicidal Tendencies

That song Bounce on System of a Down is the best (I went out on a date with a girl a bit late, she had so many friends....)

I hear that, his lyrics are certainly something to be admired. He doesn't go and rhyme about the generic rap shit. He's got a mind to speak. Not that I don't enjoy other rappers, and some of them do have alot of talent as well, he's unique.

yawn. he is wack. listen to can-i-bus and he has real skill, no gun talk, just skill. kills eminem every single line

Can-i-bus has a few good songs on 2000 B.C., his newst album is pure shit on a stick roasting over an open flame, and every chorus he has sucks, only some of the axctual verses are nice.

I didn't read the whole post, but I usually just use Disturbed and Mudvayne, but I bought the latest cd by

Thrice

and it kicks ass.

Now talk amongst yourselves.

have you heard "Miclub:- The Curriculum"? I reckon its the best one

he is not into verses.
He is more about skill, and 100 bars and things like that........that take talent. and yes some of his beats are very bad

I always go for some hard house. Lately my 2 favoruires are :
What the F**K (don't know the artisit) and Locked Tight by The Organ Donors.
Both of those are mostly underground house...took me forever to download.

Can some of the folks listing bands give some good song titles as well to help us downloaders sample some stuff before we buy it.

Thanks

DEICIDE(ONLY SERPENTS OF THE LIGHT)
haha thats the stupidest metal album i own. the lyrics read like a 15 year old try hard god hater. the drumming isnt much chop either. Some of it is good value though.

If it has to be metal i would prefer:
napalm death
damaged
Death
deceased

i used to like canibal corpse till i saw monolith of death on video.......that has to be the girliest blast beats in the world........LONG LIVE SIX FEET UNDER
