Well, you guys dont have to respond to this,
But I'll tell you how my night went, and approaching girls. Lets just say I'm a long ways away from ever becoming a Boardin' or a Forge even.
I'm scared shitless when it comes to asking girls out, or macking on girls that I dont know.
You guys are totally right, its completely not programmed into my system. It's like I've been taught by people around me not to ask girls out until you were good friends first. Stupid conservative church crowd influencing me. Tonight we had a school event at the roller rink. It sucked because a lot of the chicks there I didnt know, and it was hard to approach them while on roller blades and carry on a good conversation.
anyways, I said hi to the girls that I was friends with, and talked to them for a bit. Then later they had this thing where girls line up on one side of the rink and walk over to the other side (where the guys are) to ask a guy partner to skate with them for bit. They did this, and all the guys walked past me. 2 girls were holding hands passing along and looking and i said, "hey, arent girls are supposed to pair up with guys, not other girls?" and then I gave them a smirk, and they looked back over and one said, "well u see we are a couple" and then they skated off.
That was as close as I came to asking a girl out, I asked two if either wanted to dance. Yeah, I'm a little ways away from success, I know.
Way later after that they were probably going to have a guys ask girls thing, but the person that I came with wanted to leave soon, so I left with him shortly afterwards. Plus I just wasnt in the mood, after being shot down.
And I'm pissed because that girl that I liked (and emailed that one time) was dancing with some guy the whole time while they were there. He's the Student Body President of our college. Go figure, elite girls dating elite guys.
