Barbell Rows

Bend over at an approximate 120 degree angle. Keep your back straight and eyes forward. Grab the bar overhand, little wider than shoulder width apart. Bring the bar up to your abdomen, keeping your elbows in. Don't jerk the weight up, keep it controled. The bb shouldn't touch the floor on the downward motion, just make sure you get a full stretch.
 
It depends on your positioning. Some guys will bend over at a 90 degree angle, in which case it's pretty much a lat excercise, hitting the forearms and bis as well. But to me, that angle is unnecessarily hard on your lower back. I like to be up a little higher. It's easier on your back and will involve the traps more.

But either way, bent rows, like any kind of row or chin, is primarily a lat excercise.
 
Parallel to floor?

Ok..maybe this is a dumb question, but I've heard you bend so that you are parallel to the floor. Does it matter? I have trouble with my legs starting to shake uncontrollably if I bend too far over, but was wondering what hits the back best.
 
Well, that's kinda what I mean. I'm sure a lot of guys on the board will tell you that you have to bend over parallel to the ground, or 90 degrees. But to me, that's extremely awkward.

IMO, you can simulate that excercise almost completely doing a seated row with a bar.
