Ok well pistachios are by far my favorite snack food. My mom got me a 4lb. bag at the Costco and I ate it in a week. The last one tastes as good as the first. I have a callous on my finger from where I break open the shells. The bad one's look good but then you bite into them and they crumble easily and taste like shit.
I have a good eye for rotten ones. Even if that shell is sealed up tighter than...(i just went thru all the EF chicks in my head and couldn't find one snatch to compare tightness too).

shelled pistachios don't taste half as good... must be the chase and the victory feeling of popping them open. I saw a program on Pistachio farmers in Sicily... those MFers make some Pistachio pasta sauce that looked retardedly delicious
