I've got to agree, the carriage ride is overkill. I actually think a lot of girls like art as long as you don't spend hours at the museum, and instead just see the newest exhibits. Making her pay? You've got to be kidding me. IMO, if they guy asks the girl out he should pay. She should offer to split it but he should still pay. The next date she can pay. I've never had a guy let me pay, and I know my bro would always pay for his date. You know you're going to get along since you're already friends so why not just make the transition to more than friends decisive and take her out? I think that's also important b/c you've made the plans. Hmm, those are my thoughts, hope it goes well.
