Saturday night a friend challenged me to an arm wrestling contest. He out weighs me by about 80# (mostly fat) but I took the bait anyhow. Told him I was gonna rip off his arm and beat him in the head with it.
Well actually what happend was that I barely won and now my arm is freakin killing me. It didn't interfere so much with my back or shoulder routines earlier this week but it DESTROYED my chest work - flat DB presses - today and totally demoralized my entire workout cuz of that.
Anyone else have this happen? How long before it goes away? My goal was to be workin with the 70 lbers (yeah I'm a little guy) by end of June but today I couldn't even launch the 65's w/o thinkin my arm was gonna rip off.
Arrrgh. So frustrating. I'm glad he didn't wanna go 2 outta 3.
Yeah I reckon that would be the smart thing. Cept I took all last week off for rnr and was chompin at the bit to get back in. I am gonna be babyin the thing for the next week or two though. Next time I think we'll just have a drinkin contest. Or spittin.
