Asus Laptops as good as the Mudda Board?

Not sure about their laptops...but I just bought my first ASUS MOBO...a P5E....and everything hooked up to it just fine. I put 4G of RAM....2.66G intel Yorkfield....8800 geforce gt 512mb 256bit ddr3 vid card....500G barracuda...and no problems....
BRR...I'll shoot an e-mail to my cousin who is a Robotic Engineer and computer guru and see what he thinks....give me a few minutes.

I love asus mobos but did not even know they made laptops, I am doubting they are as good as the known companies if they just starting out in the laptop business .....

I have an ACER. Very good. I also currently have a Toshiba. Not too shabby either.

I'm trying to buy a laptop NOW, before Microsoft shoves Vista down our throats next year.

My cousin said there is a reason ASUS is known for their MOBO's and not their laptops. He said go alienware or Dell.....
