Arm Wrestling

challenged to arm wrestling? where the hell do you hang out?
Hilarious, I was thinking the same thing. I am laughing my head off. I cant remember the last time I have ever been challenged to this. Actually I don't know if ever. He must be a hick.

arm wrestling is the dumbest thing i've ever seen. being a man i , of course, wanted to do it and did it for years, but i found out that it proves nothing, especially if you're not trained for it. its kind of like fighting. anybody can pretty much win at any day if they dont know how to do it. once someone has been trained its a different story. its also a great way to get hurt. ill box somebody before i armwrestle them. i think i have joint problems to this day from arm wrestling.

Arm wrestling is more technique then it is "brute strength" and look at pappad's photo and watch those videos of guys breaking thier arms doing it, shit, that's so not even close to being worth it.

OK. So I arm wrestled some guy at work when he challenged me. I figured 'what the hell'. Long story short, I beat him and then immediately after felt pain in my right shoulder, in socket near rear delt. Fingers were tingling as I let his arm go. Now something is very wrong w/ right shoulder. Almost every movement hurts and feel like an idiot for doing something so stupid. I don't know if I tore something or just strained it. Its been a week and I am waiting for the pain to go away, but will call my doc this week.

Anyone ever had a cortizone shot?

Arm wrestling places a lot of stress on the inside of the elbow. Very similar to a baseball pitcher. I would think that the injury risk of arm wrestling, with or without warm up, will be fairly high. I can see it now; engaged in a heated wrestling match, and have my opponents ligaments snap. Then comes the law suit. Especially if it's a little guy with no business arm wrestling you.

A new article has been added:

<strong>Imagine putting your elbow down on the table to arm wrestle and then, BOOM! ...your opponent kicks you in the face! You won’t have to imagine this anymore since there is a new sport that combines arm wrestling with the brutality of mixed martial arts. If you haven’t seen full contact arm wrestling, then you’d better check this out!
