Welcome to the Ladies' Board!

Hi Everyone,I am new to the board.I have always been a BB lover and just always talked about getting in that kind of shape.NOW,I am walking that talk.I started my new regim this month, and have seen the hard work paying off.I have not had a chance to get my bodyfat checked, maybe it is just fright that keeps me from doing it,lol
I started at 180 and have gotten down to 173 so far.And it has not been easy!I eat very clean, and I do cardio 45 mins 2x a day.I also do weight training BUT I like to lift heavy with smaller reps.because as we all know that muscle will burn that FAT..
I am really siked about being here, can't wait to find more and more useful info that may help me to reach my goals.
I am 34 and a mother of 3 and I had to take a good hard look in the mirror one day and realize if I can do this and change my life back to what it once was,for 2 reason, one I want that body and 2 to be the best role model I can be to my girls. So,here I am.It is a pleasure to meet all of you..

WELCOME TO EF! Congrats on the loss 7 lb drop so far :)

I LOVE this comment "I like to lift heavy with smaller reps.because as we all know that muscle will burn that FAT."

You sound like a great role model! Welcome :wavey:

Thank you Thank you!
Well, you know you have so many people tell you that it is a no-no to lift as your trying to lose weight, well low and behold I was able to talk to some wonderful ladies bb and they set the record straight and so I feel great after a training session. Thank you so much for the compliment :verygood:

Hi everyone, I'm new to this board. I've been a member of a predominatly male board and quite frankly a little sick of them. I've been training for over 14 years. I train to stay healthy and fit. I'm 5' 108 lbs., and 12% body fat. My diet is excellent and I train at least 4-5 days per week.
