Just open your damn mouth and speak to the ladies. Every girl that you see talk to them. You may get shot down 9 times out of 10 but that one time you WILL get laid.
Hmmm, if those "attached strings" have anything to do with ownership and control then that isn't commitment. However, 95% of people have such attitudes which goes a great way towards explanating the dysfunctionality in relationships.
Commitment isn't about putting people in a cage. People often use ownership and control as a substitute for genuine commitment.

True. Commitment should be volunterrily in a relationship, not forced upon someone. Making someone commited to you, will more than likely make them less committed.
The chicks I know tell me they like jerks. They say they want to be romanced by prince charming but they really want attitude.
Maybe these fat fuckers are pricks to them, thats why the chick stays around.

This is a similar observation to the one i made in my post.
If you are a nice well adjusted guy that can work against you. So many people seek to make things hard for themselves so they'd be more attracted to a jerk.
My sister says she wants a warm caring guy. Yet the men she goes for are always cold and emotionally repressed. She says she wants a stable relationship. Yet whenever things are going well she introduces conflict into the relationship.
What she consciously says she wants isn't what she subconsciously believes is possible. So she quite unconsciously seeks out bad partners and introduces conflict into her relationships but doesn't seem aware that she is doing this.
