for example, my eating schedule is a little off. I am not hungry until 11am or so, and i cant force feed myself before 11 or i will get sick. So when i have classes from 8-3 and eat at 3:30 or so i can go 16 hours w/o food, the last time i'd have eaten would be 11pm or so last night. However the hunger isn't that bad its just a mild knawing.
However when i go home to visit people i usually eat upwards of 3600 calories or so (which is maintenance) and if i don't i feel off. So for some reason i can get by for 18+ hours w/o food and only feel a mild, easy to ignore hunger but sometimes i feel this pressure to eat every 2-3 hours, esp when im visiting home (i never feel this way away from home).
So is one purely physical hunger and the other psychological you think? thats my guess. if so the psych. hunger is stronger.
