Anyone training Bi's on back day and tris and chest day?

I have been all year. Just wondering if anyone else has been using this technique. I kinda like it, because it gives my arms more time to rest.

I was and liked it as well, but just switched to keep my body guessing....

On those days I was doing 6-9 sets for bi's and tri's. That is all the direct work I gave them...

Absolutely, that's how I do it. I do flat bench and dips on chest/tri day and finish up with a tricep isolation movement to totally burn them out.

On lat/bi day I do pull ups then seated row machine then some kind of curls to totally burn out my bis.

That's the way _I_ think makes the most sense.

I do back and bis and instead of chest and tris I do shoulders and tris. I agree with diamond chest you should concentrate on its own day.

bis and fores belong on 1 day, chest belongs alone

I also do chest/tris and back(upper)/bis
(then shoulders/traps/abs and legs/lowerback for my other 2 days)

I disgree with Chest disserving of its own day. Its not really that large of a muscle group but I guess is you had a many day training split.

I train chest/tris on the same day, starting with chest. Why not hit tri's after they are already pre-fatigued from pounding chest? Same thing for back/bi's.

Exactly. I am all about efficiency. Once your tris/bis are prefatigued, it only takes one extra exercise to blast them into oblivion.

i was doing back with bis and chest with tris then this last week i did bis/tris on their own and was able to get a wicked pump and lift more, btw i onlt did 6 sets total for each so i am now going to continue doing bis and tris with their bigger counterparts but less sets and i will do 'em seperately as well (as long as they don't stay sore) no more than 12 sets a week for each
