Anyone remember those shoes that helped build your calves?

I haven't seen them in years, but wonder if they still make them. Dr. Squat recommends them as one of the best mass builders for calves, so I thought I give them a try.

If you are wondering what I am talking about, they were should that were missing the back half of the sole. You were basically supporting your weight on your toes. They looked pretty silly, but if they work, who cares?

Does anybody know where to get these? Any links?

Dude, i remember them. I've also heard great things about them. Someone in my gym was recently talking about them, next time i see him i'll ask him where to get them.

Jumpsoles inc. still makes them. They attach to your own shoes and I think they are only 69.95. I think the website is www.jumpusa.com. Anyway, I have naturally freakish calves, but they are just big. They lack definition. I used the SS for a summer, and they actually made my calves smaller, but they were DICED!!!
I definitely recommend them. You will never experience a better pump or worse next day soreness. One caveat though. Don't overdo it or you can end up with achilles tendonitis that will curb your calf training for months.

i have the strength shoes..in fact my brother and i both have them... the work really well for your calves.. and jumping ability and quickness.. i used them in high school and just started using them again.. my brother is 5'10" skinny as ever... he can dunk from using these shoes.. im 6'2" about 185lbs i can dunk really easily form using them.. as long as u follow the workout and do them.. it works.. pretty fast too.. some people think they look funny... yea.. well they are also the lazy asses who dont even work out..later
