Anybody still use Arginine (AAKG)?

I remember when I knew nothing about supps, diet, etc, and had some Nitrix (basically AAKG). I could feel a difference when using it, but not enough to validate the cost. Now, that stuff is so cheap as pure AAKG, that I was thinking about buying some. Any thoughts?

Arginine does elevate insulin levels so taking it in your workout shake might be beneficial.

My preworkout drink Nutrabolics Ester Stack contains: Arginine,Citrulline,Glutamine Ethyl Esters plus a boatload of other stuff Id rather not type for an hour. It's pretty low priced too rivaling N0 Explode. I remember when N0 came out I was working at GNC its funny how the little trends spark and fissle out in the market place...

As far as pure L Arginine, if you are prone to or have the herpes simplex virus(prone to cold sores), it can intensify it.

I hopped on the Nitrix train a while back. Even went through 2 bottles. But decieded it was a pain in the ass toting the damn things around (horse pills to boot!)... I still tote around supps with me daily, but it wasn't worth it overall in value to me. - IMHO.
