Any Tuna (the food) fans here?

What is the overall concensus on Tuna? I eat it twice a day with nothing except pepper and lemon juice added.

I buy it from Sams Club in the 4pack flavor fresh pouch. Albacore, but only because Sams doesn't sell regular tuna.


Each pouch is 3.5 servings @ 15 grams per serving.
Total per pouch is 52 grams.

I simply have to convince myself that our generation has not suffered enough.

as long as I don't eat it plain, and too often, it has it's uses. being cheap and high in protein are two of them.
 
Ronnie's trainer/nutritionist says tuna is a poor source of protein for building muscle in the new Muscular Development. If Ronnie's eating beef and chicken, then I'm gonna eat beef and chicken!!!
 
It is good mixed with salsa or cottage cheese. Or you can put it in a frying pan and cook it with eggs. When you are on a low calorie or low carb diet, you have to be creative.
 
It was one of my staples until the mercury reports came out (I know, I know, we've beat this to death), but I am slowly adding it back, just more sparingly.
 
I eat it a couple of times per week to avoid boredom.....good stuff....

I'd like to know why it is a poor source of protein !

Actually I think it is as good a source of protein as meat, other fish and better than dairies

Just beware of mercury (no more than 3 cans a day)
