Feeling stronger all the time (or maybe it was because I had a horrible workout on Thursday)...who knows. I am taking my volume down just a bit and trying to bring up the weight for a while...to get used to the heavier weights that the Pro's use...

Good Mornings... (stepped back, med/wide stance, nearly straight legged)
135, 205 x 5
275 x 3
297 x 3
319 x 3
336 x 3
369 x 3 PR!!!
('might' could have done 405 or so for a 3 rep set...back still felt worn out)

Speed Deads
240 x 1 x 10 sets, 20 sec rest between sets, vary grip/stance every set

Pull Throughs
Heavy Band x 8 reps x 3 sets

Standing Calf Raises (standing on floor with bar on my shoulders)
135 x 10
225 x 10
315 x 10 (hard...but a PR!!!!)

Tire Flip
1,000 pound tire x 3 flips...nearly 4. 38' in 1:14
I worked quite a while on the last (4th) flip...ouch...

Conan's Wheel
SEVERAL warm up/volume sets
10 plates x 2 turns and 4'. PR!!!!!!!! last PR was just slightly over 1.25 turns

Hussafell Stone Carry
350 stone x 100' with 1 turn
350 stone x 150' with 1 turn...PR!!!

Reverse Hypers
BW x 6 x 3 sets

Abs...4 sets...no weight.

Just a few minutes...PLEASE...and let me post some pics...
 
The 1,000 pound tire...I haven't done this one in a LONG time...felt pretty good!!!!

Jason has been with us for the past 2 weeks and is making great gains. He has lots of talent...especially when he gets into better shape.

Here is him with one of his heaviest sets of GM's...his knees came fwd just a bit on this one...but it was a PR for him...

One of my Greek friends came over today to watch us train...and he tried the Conan's Wheel. We all agreed that he should stick with being a Soccer player instead of Strongman. :)

glad to see you can train in some decent weather down there. The cold just broke yesterday I hope it will wamr up for real this time and not snow again....

I had a guy to build my Conan's Wheel...it also has an attachment to make it a Viking Press too...

speaking of viking press i found out our gym has one, well sorda. its the standing calf raise machine.......but it has handles on it, its set up just like a viking press, one side attached and you press the other side.

on thursday of last week i did 230lbs for 5, and then 130lbs for 20.

i really like the way it feels. I dont really put a whole lot of leg movement into it, otherwise i could generate more power and do more weight, i may start, but we'll see. the only other differnece is that it is taller than yours, so i dont have to bend that far down to pick it up.

im looking forward to trying out yours.

I'm Exodus's weight-lifting partner and we use the "viking press" with palms facing out.
 
Clint -- I always love looking at the pictures and videos you post up. They give me a great deal of motivation and I feel like going to the gym after viewing them (even if I just got back)...
