BTW. In my area we are having a problem with the people they are housing. There are a ton of sex offenders and people with serious warrants for their arrests being shipped all over the country.

This is a damn scary thing. Most don't have any identity and sure as hell they won't turn in that information.

Truly sad to see the state of our society. I work for a television station and have seen both sides of the story. There are people who are thankful for the help ( usually older people) and then there are these young punks who are trouble.....demanding, disrespectful, unappreciative and ect.. It really stems from a lack of education and any life experience. If you turn your back to this issue now, you will only push it off on your kids. We can`t help those people who don`t want to be helped, but the children can still learn what being an american is truly all about....

Damn that's disgusting to read...we need more feedback from volunteers. I consider myself to be very very fair, disciplined. I'm also very radical and strong with my decisions. If those feedbacks are common and true, I'd say people, change your attitude 100%, open your eyes, change the law. Just because someone is a minority doesn't give him the right to be racist. Just because a proven successful race founded a nation doesn't mean they have to help everybody and be treated like shit in return. Stand strong and be rude. Seems like some people is crossing the line. We are watching lately black gangs beating soldiers, black gangs looting cities, black gangs shooting police officers, blacks abusing whites at pizza stores, WTF IS THAT!!!??? nobody will do nothing? I'd say THE GAME IS OVER. But what can I do? nothing. What many can do? A LOT.

I plan on being in NO all day saturday. I will also volunteer at the Cajundome. My home town just opened up a shut down WalMart building that has been vacant for some years and are taking in new Evacuee's.

The schools are overflowing right now and they are begging for teachers. Louisiana's school system isn't the best already. There are a few higher ranked schools but they are far and inbetween. I fear out of desperation they will just end up hiring underqualified teachers and or not give proper screening.

My kids attend a damn good school acedemic wise but she still had 26 or hell I think more, kids in her class last year and only one teacher, no helper. They don't have enough teachers as it is.

Of the evacuees i've talked to, not one said they wanted to go back. They all wanted to head to Houston.

Yeah but they'll do the same somewhere else. What we need is discipline and order. Strict law. A change of attitude. In order to have a free country and a free society we need to respect each other. Those who don't respect others freedom should be eliminated from society. And since unfortunatelly we are talking about black criminals, the great majority of black people (that is good people) should be the first against these criminals. That would be a great help.
