And the scales doesn't move...

kentucky

I have been lifting for 2 months, (first time in my life) 23yo, 200lb, not sure BF but it's pretty high... I've been on a CKD for 3 weeks, and although I feel like I've lost a ton of weight, I feel alot better, etc.... When I went to the doctors office today, my weight hadn't changed ANY at all.

What is going on, i feel alot leaner, but it's not reflecting on the scales.

I came home and put my scales in the closet, b/c I don't want this to discourage me.... Yet it leaves me wondering, what is going on...

Any help?

This being the first time you have ever worked out you are gaining lean muscle rapidly, this will slow down shortly. Or you are doing something grossly wrong on the diet

I'm averaging about 2000-2400 cals.... 20g of carbs, and from what I can tell I'm in keto for about 4.5 days of the week...

I do as much cardio as I can..... I'm so out of shape, But I started HIIT this week, felt like my liver was going to fall out, but I went balls...

Is there a possibility that I'm retaining water or something... I do feel bloated sometimes...

the water weight should be the first thing to go, plus you said that you were feeling trimmer, that is usually an indication that you have lost some water weight

You should take pictures. You look in the mirror every day and you look the same, but if you take pics once a month you'll really see the differences.
