Anabolic s & Diabetes

I am a 29 year old guy been bodybuilding for 13 years used anabolic s for 11 of the 13 if have used most performance enhancing drugs there are HGH Insulin Clen & 90% anabolic steroids that are produced probably

I recently got diagnosed with diabetes about a year ago this has changed a lot of things for me but

I still think that I probably held the diabetes down for a few years I first started feeling less and less gains from my anabolic cycles and started feeling tired all the time this was in 2006 I carried on with my normal routine and eventually got very sick in 2008 lost 30kg I was down to 82kg when I was the lightest I had not been that light seens 1998 my normal weight being about 100-105kg between 10% 20% fat and the heaviest I have been is 114kg not being hugely fat

I am wondering if there is anyone out there that has gone through a similar experience and is still bodybuilding with anabolic s and how he or she goes about doing it ? javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$cpContent$lnkUK','')

I am 53 years old. I had Large B call Lymphoma. One of the chemo drugs they gave me was prednisone. An unfortunate side effect of this is I developed type 2 diabetes. I have been an athlete going on 38 years now. I was training six days a week when I got the diagnosis of cancer about six years ago. I had never done any roids until after I had cancer. This is because the chemo just ate up my body and F_dup my endocrine system. Low testosterone levels as well as insulin resistance. My first cycle was test and tren. I loved it. It really helped me get my body back. Yes I have diabetes but I watch my diet very closely. Testosterone and diabetes drugs can lower your blood glucose to the point that you have a hypoglycemic reaction ( actually happened to me once.) So be careful and have a source of glucose handy. They come in little gel packs you can just squeeze into your mouth ( ask your doctor for some.) The main problem I had with the diabetes meds was slow weight gain. After five years of taking them I had gotten fat. My energy levels were very low and I had a very hard time getting into the gym. I hadn't made it to the gym in over a month when I read about the meds causing weight gain. I stopped taking the Metformin and Glyburide. I dropped 22 pounds in three months with no change in diet. That stuff is poison.

You didn't say what kind of diabetes you have. If it's type 1 you really need to keep close watch on your diet and use your insulin properly. Don't over eat and don't over medicate. Eat five to six small meals a day with about 40 grams of carbs each meal. High fiber, long digesting carbs are the best but having a can of coke handy for when you start dropping your blood sugar to low is a good thing.

You can still be an athlete it just takes a lot more discipline. In a way I'm lucky. I once knew a man that died of diabetes. I got to see what he went through. So this gives me very good reasons to keep my shit together. And also when to pull the plug if I have to. My friend had a lot of problems with no energy for years. Then he went blind. He was blind for a couple of years then he got dementia. He lasted like that for about three years then died. Before he went blind he got VERY DARK circles around his eyes. I mean black circles. It looked like his eyes were in pits of coal colored skin. If that happens to me I will end it. I won't be a burden on my wife and kids like my friend became. At your age you have at least thirty years before that becomes an issue. So just buck up and get your shit together. Really be an athlete in the fullest sense of the word. Control your life so that you eat right, train properly and live well. That is what you want to do anyhow isn't it? So now you have something that will make you do it or you go blind and die. It's your choice.

Hi Big Joe

Thanks for the fast response
I have got Diabetes type 1

I have done one test cycle on winstrol tabs after I got diagnosed and at first everything was fine but after about 3 weeks I had to start increasing my Insulin doses both long and fast acting from (long acting 24Iu to 33Iu) to keep my glucose levels within a normal range I then stopped taking the winstrol after 6 weeks and now roughly 3months after the cycle my long acting is still up at 33iu's I even used HCG to see if It had anything to do with my normal test levels and that did not help with the insulin doses.
Mabey I shuld try a cycle of test and tren like you did ?

HI JGFN

Yes I was taking clen some of the time two on two off but have not taken T3 for a while probably took T3 inn 2004 along with HGH and anabolics

Was your blood sugar just as bad while you were off Clen as when you were on?

When I tried Clen in the past I had to double or even triple the amount of insulin I was normally taking in order to keep from going hyperglycemic. Needless to say my experiment with Clen was a short one.

Yes I had the same problem with the clen I had to use a lot more insulin
Have you tried ephedrine or a ECA stack ?
Do you know of any good fat burning drugs that do not have an effect on the glucose level?

I've found that all stimulants (that I've tried at least) do raise blood sugar to some extent (by reducing insulin sensitivity and/or by increasing gluconeogenesis in the liver) , but none nearly as much as Clen. It's the only thing I've ever had to stop taking due to the effects it had on my blood sugar.

I usually just stick with T3. It's effects on blood sugar are pretty negligible.

Ok just wandering do you have a Thyroid disorder and get T3 or 4 prescribed because from what I have heard if you are Diabetic you have a grater tendency to develop thyroid disorders ?
What kind of dose and length of time do you take T3 for ?

No I can't say I have a thyroid disorder... I'm just vain :supercool. I get blood work done periodically to make sure everything is where it should be and my thyroid has always come back within the normal range.

I take pretty moderate doses... usually 50-75mcg per day. I don't really plan the length of my cycles like most people. Some might consider this irresponsible, but I stick to moderate doses of test and T3 only, run proper PCT and get blood work done, so I'm not worried about it.
