Alters are fine. The only problem I see is if some one is not "man" enough to say some thing under their original handle. However Gambino-ish alters (ones made for fun and laughs) should not be a bannable offense..Just my .02.Really does not matter what I think, this is not my board, I am only a member. It is all upon Dig,Brr,George and mods..But you asked the opinion so there it is!

people dont think RADAR should be welcomed here cuz of posting fake pics, but people like to have alters running around?
 
oh, and what about non-paying alters vs. paying ones?

angel, i see your point about some alters being just for fun- but if this was your site, would you determine the validity of each alter individually, or would you just let them all stay/ban them?

As long as it's a well-run schtick. One word: Musculargunz.

People blatantly trying to decieve seem pathetic to me. Any well-run alter should be transparent yet entertaining, with a good schtick usually over-personifying something to the point of absurdity. And unless it's an organized community account, I fail to see the purpose of an alter posting on a daily basis.

Also, any alter should fully realize that if Dig catches you, you're likely to be gone. And Digger knows exactly who is who around here. Don't think for a second that he doesn't.

The number of truly good alters in the last several years has only been a mere handful. If you have an alter with no schtick, you might as well killself.

Well honestly I would let alts stay.If this site were mine, as long as they did not mess with the juicers and serious issues..C&C is a big playhouse, why not allow it in C&C only?
 
it's a freakin chat forum, and it's not like anybody's handle is their real name. the only purpose should be entertainment; bring on the alters as long as theyre funny
 
What about the alters who changed to an alt. for a good reason(being stalked, ect.)? What if they were liked but STILL had to change names to not be bothered in real life, ect.

Wow, since I started posting on this site a few days ago, I have been more and more appauled at the language and hate that has been going on here. Any new person who tries to fit in seems to either be an alter, and if he/she isn't accused of that, they simply don't get any attention at all. Well back to "wow", you sir are not funny, that is disgusting. I am really not pleased with this website at all. I came here thinking it would be very informational and fun at the same time, why else would my b/f always be on here. Now I wonder why he was.

the picture in my avi is from a professional photographer. my last avi was my body, so now i'm posting my face. :)

your bf (ex?) has said some rather inflammatory remarks, and people are not soon to forget them.
 
they should be kept on a tighter leash then a non alter member.the alts are just for fun but when some one makes one just for the sake of bashing on another member and takes it to far then it should be band.this makes a problum for admin because now they have to baby sis alters along with real members of this site.if you have bin a member of this site fore a long time you are plat and you contribute all the time you can have a bit more
le way and get away with a bit more,but if its a alt it should be band as soon as it fuckes up.

one thing that sucks is I see some alts getting away with way more then even a plat member that has bin here for years could do.ie coldblue and others that I have seen.that should not be so.all alters should be treated the same like the peace of trash
that they are.all members should red and bomb them daily and when they do some thing out of line no matter if a mod made them or not they should be band.

seems like to much work for the mods.leaves to much up for interpretation,to many would not be honest,and a hole lot of inconsistence at hand.witch seems to be pretty much what is going on now......so its ether
1.keep it the way it is
2.bane them all.
3.let them run rampet
4.form a alter hunting bomb squad and go alter killing all the time reding and bombing
and find there makers and do the same to them...... :evil:

Alters are fucking gay beyond belief. Uber-stupid.

I dont care if they are "allowed" to stay - I always thought that whole concept was stupid too.

No no no, he is still my boyfriend, and hopefully will be for a very long time. He seems to say things he regrets afterwords, but I guess he has to learn somehow.
