Alternative to reverse hypers?

I was wondering what exercises would be a decent alternative to reverse hypers. I do not have access to one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks all.
 
You can do reverse hypers with out an actual reverse hyper machine... All you need is a power rack and a board to go across the safety pins and flex bands for resistence.. I use a 15" wide 1" think plywood board and put it across the pins about waist high.. I attach my "light" band to the bottom front of the rack and hook my feet through it... It works pretty well, not as good as a true reverse hyper I'm sure, but probably better than any other alternative.... Hope this helps...
 
I found that you can do reverse hypers using one of the machines for preacher curls.. If you have a free standing preacher curl station even better.. What i do is grab one of the mats they have and lay it over top.. (you have a straight vertical side and a sloped side). When you lie on top of the preacher your legs should be on the vertical side and your arms should be on the sloped side. Then all you do is grab the little T support that holds the weights (on a normal curl) and commence the excerise

Here is a picture of a Preacher curl.. this one has a seat that you would have to remove inorder to do the excerise..

Reverse Hypers works your HAMS so as an alternative you can try stiff legged deadlifts, leg curls, etc.. I found this info on www.elitefits.com, do a search there for reverse hypers and you'll have your answer.
