anyone else pay this new charge to check in your bags...wtf, cost me $25 for a second bag. Flying blows now.

I heard about it.
I actually thing it was a good idea for them to change for baggage instead of a rate hike.

they are doing both is the problem, I prefer not to take out my credit card again at the check in desk. It really slowed things down.

I fly enough that I'm a platinum elite member on 2 major airlines, so the fees don't apply to me thankfully.

Last year I flew 225,000 miles. (NOT BY CHOICE)

It helps to get free upgrades on domestic segments though. The government sure isn't paying for me to fly first class!

WHAT?
I thought it was the baggage only.
:worried:

They should have given more notice so people would be more prepared (if just mentally).

I think people will adjust, however this is the first week - I was happy I made my connector, but I bet some people had challenges.

They were talking about charging for 1 bag checked..

one reason is they charge postal services and others $$$ to go from point a to b, so why not the passenger??

Have you purchased the snack deal??

I fly for free, my uncle worke dfor united airlines for 40 years, so if i go with him anywhere its free, or i can use his companion passes and just pay the tax and fly standby, which is alot better now since they arent operating at full capacity.

Maybe the stupid gay lines while Fattie McPattie is checking in her 9 bags will go away.

I always pack light, and these bozos always annoy me. Bout time they started paying.

Good day good day.
