I also agree with the trainer. I am 15(almost 16) and have a friend who is 19/20. He started working out alittle later than me. But when he started we had the same bench. Now after a month(at most) his bench is like 60 pounds more than mine. Try changing your rountine to working each bodypart twice a week. I started doing that like a month ago and I am seeing much better strength and size gains.

Don't worry about shit like that. Never waste a workout day, eat a ton, and get as much sleep as possible. The gains will come.

[B im beginning to get very depressed about working out. My training is good, i eat like a motherfucker, and i sleep 9 hours a night. Still,,, i see nothing. I dont kno how long this is supposed to take.... [/B]

You say you eat alot, but that is all relative. You need to post numbers. How many calories are you taking in every day? Some people feel full but havent eaten that much. look out.

i've been lifting for 4 years. i'm 15. i weigh about 240 (will be a fairly lean 225 in a couple months). i really don't look that much though. shoulders are thin and my arms are small-looking. of course it's probably jsut in my head

I grew faster when I was young then now at 22, BUT im stronger then I was, just not as big, but Im getting back there, hell I think I am there now, hmmm

my training was (i just switched it this week) te conventional form of training a body part once a week. I have been working out for 4 months, i dont kno what kind of results i should be expecting after 4 months.

tahts your problem, 4 months is nothing, come back in 4 years, if you havent grown then you have a real problem :D

in other words, have patience, give it time...

4 months is a long time! You should have seen SOME results. If you haven't put on inches in that timeframe (especially if you just started), change something, diet or routine.

Dont sweat it too much man..the gains will come in time.Sometimes you dont even notice that you are improving, but trust me..others will.If you are worried about size, you might take some pictures every once in a while,to compare(before and after).I dont feel like Ive gained much size since I started, but looking back on old pictures,I definitely have...the same goes for strength.
Listen to the people on this site, and keep training hard, and the gains will come.
Also...I second what B fold said about muscular maturity. When my dad was my age his entire stucture looked very thin.He doesnt work out at all,but now he looks alot thicker than he did back in the day. This probably changes with different people,I dont know...
