I do self administer. However, insurance will only pay for it if I get it refilled about every 3 1/2 weeks. If not, it costs around $70 I think.

can a General Practitioner give HGH scripts????? Also how long to lab results usually take to come back? I plan on asking my GP to recommend me to a HRT clinic.. im 26... have had various trauma's .. head injury due to severe punch to my temple when i was like 17 yrs old .. also abused recreational drugs in my teen years..leading up to my early 20's where i ran a couple cycles.. with shit PCT.. and i feel like shit.. alwayss.. no sex drive.. no energy, losing weight/muscle fast.. depression.. no interest in anything.. feel withdrawn.. and its been like this for a couple years now.. I went to my GP.. to talk about my focus and anxiety.. thinking might help.. gave me adderall.. depression pills.. did nothing for me, made me feel even worse.. so i have been consulting HRT clinics about getting tested.. If i bring up the topic to my GP.. ive known my whole life.. small town doc.. do u think he would be able to help me with this.. or how should i go about finding the right place to go.. i feel like my life is in the gutter and have no motivation.. its not a way to live.. i need help..

Eye..., I don't know if a general practitioner can prescribe HGH, however, they should have no problem ordering some blood tests to check your hormone levels. Starting testosterone is a start anyways. I have low testosterone secondary to my hypothyroidism. I went through 3 doctors before I found one to put me on Armour Thyroid and start me on testosterone. It was a painful process to get where I'm at, but it was definitely worth it.

Im 37 and just got on Test Cyp, still don't feel anything as I was told to wait 6 to 8 weeks...let's see. So far I know my body hair has increased (im bald) and if anymore I may just belong in a zoo! So I know the Test is working... On top of that I've got Hypothyroidism and Im on meds for that... I still don't know why Im feeling so tired, sometimes I just can't wake up to go workout in the morning.

Anyone here with similar symptoms or have good advice on how to beat this?

just bare with it more, u know androgens and estrogens affect ur neurotransmitters (brain chemicals) like dopamine and serotonine , the former makes u motivated where the latter give u the sense of well being , and starting from a low sex steroid level i think u need to wait until ur body adjust to it and increase ur neurotransmitters level, most ppl take time for this, some even wait more than 2 months to feel the full effect of hrt, u may discover later that ur test dose is not enough and need to increase it , the beginning of HRT is kind of experimenting phase to find the right test dose and AI if needed. r u taking HCG ?

53. Started with Androgel. Worked OK. Tried compounded cream, didn't work so well. Settled on Fortesta which was pretty much the same as Androgel. Told the doc that I really wanted better results at the gym so beginning of the year, he prescribed 200mg Test C per week which I split and pin Monday and Thursday. It's been about 7 weeks now and I'm really glad I made the switch to injections.
