What can i say,i love me some guns!!(i'm new to this though)

What are some good shotguns?? I thinking of buying a" remington 870 express police shotgun.

Does it get any better than that???

Mossbergs are crap, they are cheap guns for lowlife wannabe gangsters. I would get the Remington, Benelli, Berretta and a few others. I have a Mossberg and it sucks my ass.
 
i am certainly no gun expert but I like 'em as well

remington 870 is a great shotgun for the money--no doubt about it


when i was looking for a economical shotgun--I bought the mossberg 500 crown grade combo package for $275--it comes with a 20" deer barrel(or self defense)---and a 28" barrel to be used for bird hunting

its a hell of a deal
 
fuck that, my friend owned a Mossterd and the fucking safety broke on it, mine won't feed the shell correctly so it fucking jams every shot. It also won't pattern well. I should pawn mine to some unlucky sucker.

I went bowhunting tonight---saw 6 doe -- one may have been a buck, but anyhow they didnt get close enough and it was nearly dark but the weather was perfect. light mist with fog at about 45 degrees

you going to hunt elk this year there in CO

Yeah,I've heard some bad stories of the mossberg as well.
 
The only way Mossberg survives is by low prices and names like Street Sweeper. Given that you can get a shorter barrell and pistol grip for an extra $5, it appeals to ghettos and red necks.

It depends on what you intend to do with the shotgun.
 
Gimmie a break, I have owned 6 Mossberg's and none of them have ever jammed or given me any problems. Sure Benelli's are great but why pay that much extra unless your a mercenary who will be using it every day. I dont like Remington's personally although they are great gun, reliable and all that. Just because your Mossberg sucks does not mean they all do.
 
I, nor any of my hunting buddies will ever buy another Mossterd.

Huntmaster, i killed a 6 point bull with my bow on 9/23, pretty intense hunt. Even more intense packing it by myself. I started packing at 10:30am and did not get done till 5:30 that evening.
 
Unless you hunt duck, what in fuck are you going to do with a shotgun?
 
shotguns are fun for upland birds, shooting trap, and the best home self defense weapon there is. I am going to get a Remington 12 with a short barrel, two pistol grips, and a spotlight attachment.
 
As long as it has actual purpose other than collecting dust and showing your buddies.

I bought one not to long ago and it seem like a pretty well made gun, never jammed or anything on me.

I spoke to some people in the Sangre De Christo mtns that are going to let me stay in their cabin ---maybe i will be able to make it up next year
 
I got a Remington 870P recently. Nice shotgun. BUT for home defense, nothing beats my last baby: an AR-15 compact, .223 with Streamlight on it and a 3.4x scope.

semi-auto. Like a revolver but its a shotgun. Not really all too accurate but cool looking thats for sure. Kinda dumb to put the m-11 on there but whatever. I would rather have the original Mac 10(.45). I had an m-11 for awhile, fun to shoot- especially when you put the target like 15 feet in front of you. haha.

I have another question, can you LEGALLY saw off the end of a shotgun if its for home defense only????? In Texas anyway.

I've never used one, but was told the MAC10s jam constantly.
