So big johnson, how many hours before hitting the gym do you suggest to shoot it? i usually shoot it 4 hours before, i'm wondering if i should do it earlier to really get the most for the workout.

Sorry big J, but you've got it backwards. Phenyl-prop. is LONGER than prop., half-life is closer to 4-5 days, not 3 like regular prop. Trust me, just look up the chemical formula, the molecular chain of phenyl-prop weighs almost twice what prop. does. But both are still fast-acting

PHAT, you may be correct in the half-life of phenyl-propionate, but do not mistake ester length, or weight, as being the determinant for half-life. The phenolic group is going to change the chemical nature of the ester, as compared to the propionate alkane.

Yes, quite true, it changes the structure, but it's simple relations. If the half-life is longer, which it is, the free test levels will rise less quickly, as it takes longer for the ester to be cloven from the parent molecule. So, no matter how it changes the ester, the half-life determines how long it will take before the levels build up high enough to "kick" in. If he takes phenyl-prop. as opposed to prop., it WILL take longer for it to hit, but not by much. Trust me, I've taken both, and know my chemistry too, as do you, apparently
