Advice from the experts

I know you guys know how to bulk and how to get lean, so I hope you can help me.

So here's the deal. I am 6' 1" and weigh in at 329lbs and 39 years old. Yeah..sexy as hell. Good news is I am down from 355. I started working out and am doing my best to follow Milos Sarkev's diet plan...i'm doing really well with it.
Anyway, what can I do to get this weight off and pack on some muscle? I'm not looking for easy...just sick of looking like crap. I have been told by a bodybuilding friend that I have the perfect body for bodybuilding and he said that when I'm big like I am it would be perfect to bulk up while I lose weight.

Here is what I've been doing:

I started out working out once a week and am up to three times a week. I am really starting to like it for the first time in my life (I played college basketball but always hated working out). I have been doing great on my diet eating about 300g of protein and not going over 100g of carbs a day, just about zero fat intake as well.
Supplements: I got some dagger....boy this stuff is hard to take! Smells horrible and the lemonade flavor is not good. I have to hold my nose and chug it as fast as possible. I can't say i've noticed any benefits yet but I'm only at day 6. I am looking forward to the test boost.
I've also been taking muscle milk. Unfortunately, I read this stuff isn't the best, or really even good for you after, I purchased it. I'm going to finish this tub before switching to ????

I kinda doubt any of you guys have ever been as overweight as me; however, i am confident there are plenty of people on here that can help. I need all the help I can get!

So what supplements should I be taking and when? I probably don't need as much help with the exercise regimen at this point as I'm doing about all I can do. I am completely spent at the end of my workout (mostly weights and kettle bells) and seeing improvement daily...which is flippin' awesome! Lastly, any opinions on diet? I like Milos's diet, I'm just wondering if there is any new science out there that might be better.

Thanks in advance.

That great to hear that your so motivated to make some solid gains man.. I think the biggest thing is to stay consistent - Have you thought about throwing in some fasted morning cardio on those days that your not in the gym? Might help to speed up the fat loss a bit... But the thing is at your weight with a clean diet and solid training you should have no issues at all dropping the fat! It should come off really quick at your weight especially as you start to build up the muscle endurance & stick with your program. As for your protein once your out of MM i would switch to either some whey from needtobuildmuscle.com or check out true nutrition.. both are great products. Other than that I wouldn't over do it with the supplements at this point, maybe just a multi vitamin (dx7 seems to be solid from protein factory).. fish oil... cla... green tea extract. Keep it simple at this point and you can always add supps in a couple months.

As for diet... not sure what Milos's diet is but I would just keep it simple as well.

breakfast
6 eggs (only two yolks) feel free to throw veggies in there
1 cup of oats w/ small amnt of blueberries or natty pb

Then all your meals following should pretty much consist of a lean protein and a serving of vegetables
-grilled chicken, lean turkey, white fish
- vegetables: id stick with spinach, broccoli, green beans, and other green nutritious vegetables

Maybe have pre workout (130-115) carbs such as a cup of oats or a large apple w/ pb
Protein shake 1hr pre
Shake post

Id stray away from anything dairy except greek yogurt..
but if you post up your current diet I could probably provide more assistance.. i just wanted to give you something to work from

Best of luck to you

Thanks iron!

last week I was doing all I could to get 1 g protein per lbs of weight. I failed! I busted my ass and only averaged 250g ... I'm going to go broke trying to get all that protein in! I read on here somewhere that its good to shoot for four meals and two to four shakes. I'm going to try that this next week. I'm not going over 100g of carbs and the only fat I get is in the lean meats...mostly chicken. I have been shooting for six meals a day and have been doing really well. My big problem is that I am still running about a thousand calorie deficit. I read that 500 is the goal. Am I ok at 1000? I can't seem to get the calories without going over on carbs. I've just got to force more protein...I got some tuna today hope that gets me there. The way I felt a month ago compared to now is night and day. I did cardio yesterday for 30 min...about friggin killed me...but was awesome.
