I am only getting roughly 1300 calories a day. Or at least, that's all i've gotten today. Oh no! What should I add??

meal one; 3 egg whites, scrambled
1/3 cup instant oatmeal

meal two- protein shake
90calorie granola bar

meal three- 4oz grilled chicken breast
1cup green beans

meal four- protein shake
1oz almonds

meal five- canned light tuna in water
1cup mixed vegetables

That's what i've had today.
Thandie! Help!

At what time of day is it where you are at? If its 1 am like it is where I am at I would add aaah cottage cheese and then go to bed.

I would call it a night.... which you probably did and fixed the mealplan tomorrow (today)... adding mixed vegetables to your egg whites and adding a small carb to meal 3

Hmm, that doesn't sound like 1300c.

Let me know how that works out.

Switch to whole albacore, it's near absent in mercury (compared to it's counter part "canned tuna") and it tastes better :D

Alrighhttt. I figured I wasn't getting much carbs in my meals, but it takes forever for brown rice to cook so I haven't done it in a while. Lazy, I know. And yeah, I called it a night last night and am just trying to fix things up today. I think it may be a little more than 1300 calories because I ate 3 egg whites and I realize that eggs are about 70-80 calories each. It only kept in about 88 calories for all three. Thankfully I don't eat tuna that often because of that exact reason. The mercury.
But today I shall change things around, add things in like thandie has suggested and I shall go from there! I will post what I ate at the end of the night.

AND, today is my THIRD day on ECA. I'm doing great. I have been taking it 3 hours after my first meals just because the last time I took caffeine and whatnot on a complete empty stomach(first thing in the morning) I about threw up. I am not getting jittery at all. Just increased energy. Takes about 30 minutes to start feeling it and has been lasting a little over 4 to 5 hours. So I take it about about noon and am passed out by around 10. Or ready to be passed out. lol
My yohimbine got backordered(out of stock. I waited a week and still didn't come in) so I switched it to a different brand that has yohimbine. And it was cheaper, so thats always a plus. LOL. So it is on its way. =D

Most of the calories from the eggs are in their yolk. I have no knowledge of 3 egg whites since I buy egg whites and just measure what I want... ie: 1/3 c... etc. Most grocery stores carry them, about $4 for a 1L container... saves some time. Uncle Bens also sells whole grain/brown rice in microwavable packets. About $1.50-$2.00 each and takes 90 seconds to cook. There is more then 1 serving in there... you can eat 1/2 at lunch and 1/2 at dinner when you're in a bind and need some good carbs. I would buy small yams, cook them whole surrounded by foil in the oven for 1-1 1/2 hours and reheat them for a few days.... or mash them up and then eat them that way. They're so sweet and yummy they really only need a bit of salt and pepper.

Abxavier, Don't count calories, count macros. How much protein in grams, carbs and fat, that way you know exactly what you're eating. You can have 3 or 4 egg whites and oatmeal and you'll have a ton of energy to start your day.

I kept my breakfast the same this morning just because, like you said thandie, I have plenty of energy after having just that alone. For my second meal (protein shake) I added a cup of veggie soup. That felt good. And I definitely do count macros. Thats why I never noticed that I wasn't getting enough calories altogether. I just always think, "okay, thats enough protein for my meal. Okay, thats enough fat.." and so on.
