Ever since I got pregnant with my son (3 years ago) I've had problems with my lower back. It got so bad to where I could not lay flat on my back on hard surfaces like the floor or even a hospital bed because my S. I joints would literally pop out of place and cause my entire lower body to go numb. I still have problems with it and becuase of it one leg is longer than the other. My question is..........Is it okay to build the muscle around this area or would it cause problems becuase my back is out of alignment. I've been to a physical therapist and all they do is use the ultasound on it, but it really does not help much. I stretch it everyday. About a year ago I was seeing a chiropractor but that got expensive really quick and the military does not pay for "alternative" treatments. The chiropractor helped a lot but he said I needed 30+ sessions becuase my back is so out of whack. I have 5 pinched disks and curvature in my neck. Once my husband graduates in October I'll start back going to the chiropractor but until then what can I do help out the situation. Any suggestions?
