A Warning For Anyone with Acid Reflux

Im curious, how did they test you for H pylori?

Its actually a lot more common than people think and it can wreak havoc on the body in so many ways well beyond the stomach.

The prescription treatment for it I hear is pretty brutal, and whats sad is only about 70% effective. Ive talked to a few folks who went 2-3 rounds of pharmeceuticals and still couldnt get rid of it.

I wonder if somehow tren allows it to proliferate?

I think there is a link between the heart strain tren puts on the organ and the acid reflux.

it may not be the same thing as straight acid reflux but more like something else that docs confuse with acid reflux. when I was on tren I would get heartburn if I ate anything spicy, typically I avoid spicy food because it makes my cum taste funny so my gf's insist I avoid lol

The initial test is a urea breath test, iirc high urea comes back as a strong indicator. ( the bug secretes it to protect itself from the stomach acid )

The follow-up is an endoscopy where by they send down a scope to take a look at the stomach and take a biopsy.

I bi-passed the breath test and was put straight onto the triple course of anti biotics and ppi's.

the symptoms had cleared by the time my endo scope was due , so i didnt proceed with that.

after researching natural remedies for h-pylori , i found that manuka honey and mastic gum tabs really help with these type of stomach issues.

There is a lot of conflicting info among docs on what tests are best etc, thats why I asked what they put you through.

Some docs have no problem putting folks on the meds if they even think pylori may be involved, others a lot more hesitant.

Matula tea has a money back guarantee to wipe out pylori and humaworm has also proven effective. Mastic gum and the honey also come up a lot os remedies but it can be a bitch to get rid of.

The body makes pylori antibodies to fight it off, some claim everyone has it and that its normal and fine as long as not out of control, but im of the school that any non helpful freeloaders are a bad thing. We are inundated with enough toxins, we dont need intestinal freeloaders adding to the mix.

Another thing most people dont realize is intestinal pathogens often cause some crazy mental side effects, depression, anxiety etc.

yeah I know.

but living in NYC you eat all that Italian and Chinese food, that's probably what it is.. the food there is amazing compared to down here in the south where people think olive garden is authentic lol

Yeah but I'll be driving down soon and be stuffing myself with ribs, shrimp and grits and buttermilk pie. That's can't hurt me, right? lol

wow that is interesting however not surprising to me.

I think the key to acid reflux is fixing what is causing it to begin with .. a lot of times merely losing belly fat, cutting out dairy/red meat, and cutting off spicy food can cure it rather easily.

Dairy is actually good for acid reflux I have it and drinking milk kills mine

okay so you have heartburn and you drink milk? so how exactly is milk good for it again?

it temporarily helps you but milk drank on a regular basis will cause more acid in the stomach which over time will cause chronic heartburn which it sounds like you have.

hope that makes sense. bottom line is if you are getting chronic heartburn then SOMETHING is wrong ..

a good remedy to try instead would be chewing gum because it pushes the acid back down when you swallow your saliva.

I can't argue there lol
