A Warning For Anyone with Acid Reflux

good lord people am I the only person left in America who doesn't take Rx drugs on a daily basis?

might be time for a new article on this subject .. these drugs have side effects, every single one of them

You aren't the only one Steve. I don't take any prescription meds. Just my non-prescription steroids...lol

belly fat causes acid from your stomach to be pushed up into the esophagus.

those with flat stomachs are less likely to ever experience acid reflux for that reason.. also believe it or not raising the back end of your bed so you sleep at a slight angle can help digestion.. I suggest that for anyone who has night reflux

That was my joke bro. I don't have too much belly fat. : )

Acid reflux medications such as Previcid (longterm usage) and Pepcid AC (for acute attacks) BOTH increase prolactin levels.

Does anyone remember the active ingredient of these from the top of their head?
If not, yes, I will Google them, just hoping to skip on the first few searches, since I will still have to find out what brand names they are sold under at EU/here.

I've been slowly but steadily eliminating every RX and OTC drugs that I don't absolutely need to taking out from my once vast daily drug regimen. Or switch to natural version, if just possible.

I am still going to pay the price for the self destructive lifestyle I lived for a long time. It's definitely no easy or quick change from pro-drug opiate addict who is lucky to even be alive, to this fitness freak which I've now turned into. Still it's worth every last struggle that I've had to go through, and even more.

yeah I know.

but living in NYC you eat all that Italian and Chinese food, that's probably what it is.. the food there is amazing compared to down here in the south where people think olive garden is authentic lol

let me re-phrase it .. am I the only person left in America who doesn't take a drug that isn't performance enhancing?

Im with ya Steve. If you have acid reflux so bad you need constant medication I would seriously look at intestinal pathogens. H. Pylori comes to mind for acid reflux issues.

Not to mention the additional systemic stress imposed by improperly digested foods due to lack of stomach acid causing excessive rotting in the gut, and then of course poor nutritional uptake as well.

There is no money in a healthy population, if there was insurance companies and doctors would get paid for making people well instead of recruiting another cash cow who lives with a monthly laundry list of prescriptions.

It's pretty common to have acid reflux as a side effect when on Tren, so this is certainly something people should think about.

bingo ! at the end of my tren run last year i had reflux and bloating that i was diagnosed and treated for helicobacter pylori .
reflux was chronic and i was put on proton pump inhibitors to surpress acid production along with 2 strong anti biotics.

i felt worse on the meds but it cleared up around the same time the tren cleared my system.

Good post Nelson.

Im curious, how did they test you for H pylori?

Its actually a lot more common than people think and it can wreak havoc on the body in so many ways well beyond the stomach.

The prescription treatment for it I hear is pretty brutal, and whats sad is only about 70% effective. Ive talked to a few folks who went 2-3 rounds of pharmeceuticals and still couldnt get rid of it.

I wonder if somehow tren allows it to proliferate?

.

yes this is spot on. when I was younger I would have daily reflux.. my doc put me on one of those acid reducers and then said come back in 2 weeks... it just got rid of my acid in my stomach, which causes a domino effect like you said.

I decided to do it my own way.. flattened my stomach, cut out dairy and red meat, and raised my bed so I slept at an angle and like magic no more reflux.
