A STL Saturday...:)

i bet i could fit inside that atlas stone.. its huge! Why dont you train at eagles more often? too long of a commute?

And wow, 5-6 inches below your knee.... i think you could get a 700 normal dead w/in a month after seeing that.

We did a light board press, tric extension, face pull, rotator cuff workout today. Helped us to loosen up quite a bit.

Yeah..that 404 stone stinks!!!! I want one though...lol. Want to try a bigger one too!!!! :)

Eagle Gym is 4 hours away...kinda long drive just to get a workout but you learn in this sport from experience. It is like playing basketball...you need to practice on different courts with different teams. Every piece of strongman equipment feels different and everyone has a new idea on how to do an event better. That is where I learn...from experience.

Just found out that there are some guys about 45 minutes South of me who have started strongman training. They have the stones, tires, farmers, etc...gonna start going there from time to time!!!

Working on my web site now too...sent some pics to a company about a sponsorship just a few mintest ago!!!!

im sure this idea may sound a bit ludacris... but here's an idea on a way to draw attention to yourself to gain a sponsor.

Dress up in blue spandex tights , and some red spandex shorts, wear some blue spandex long sleeve shirts, on the front draw a big red and yellow "B", and then take an old blue towel and write a giant red and yellow "B" on it, and then you have your costume. A nice super man hybrid..............
Also, you could buy a pair of glasses so you could look sophisticated.

Besides that, good luck finding a sponsor, and getting a website up

You are too funny...lol.

With my feet as big as they are...they were calling me "Scuba Steve" this weekend...lol

880 on the silver dollar deadlift...talk about fun..lol. Grip almost gave out too...almost.

That pic just reminded me that I was gonna start doing partials from lower down.......could be interesting to see what I can get from that height :).

Just sit the bar to where it is about 18" from the ground...or less.

Well I did em and got marginally more than I get for a 'full-range' deadlift.......which is a bit of a kick in the teeth. The position is very awkward and my knees get in the way (the bar is about 3 inches below my knobbly knees when I start).

At least I have somewhere to work from now lol.
