A question about meal combining and timing

OK so from the research i've been doing lately i've learnt that you should combine carbs and fats and from what i've read it's best to eat carbs and protein in the earlier meals
i've been doing this for 3 weeks now with good results but im gonna start training in the evenings now and won't get home until 10. I can have a shake straight after training no probs but when i get home should i have a P+C or P+F meal instead? If i have a P+C meal should I have a P+F meal earlier on during the day?

I usually do:

breakfast P+C
2nd Breakfast P+C
Lunch P+ moderate C moderate F
snack P+F
Dinner P + F
Snack P + F

Any input would be greatly appreciated thanks

yeah when i say moderate carbs and moderate fat i mean low really
like i'll have tuna and veggies with some light mayo or sprinkle of cheese for flavour :)
don't go more than 10c or 10 f in that meal

I would have a high gi carb and whey before you workout and then a protein flax afterwards... I have a similar schedule... I hate taking carbs then going to sleep... FYI - I feel leaner when I take alot of flax....

Nights after workout, first thing should be your protein drink with dextrose and some ala, but after that i prefer protein and carbs only with no added fat - i like getting the fat during the day

I just started doing that too. My first meal is P+C and my meal before WO is P+C, after WO is Dextrose Whey then 1 hour later P+C. All other meals P+ F expect maybe one thrown in P+C. I try to avoid C+F.

whats up senior W - I usually work out at 4:30 so I drink a protein shake 38 grams protein with 60 grams of dextrose after the workout - then eat roughly 2 hours after that which is just protein and very light carbs, generally just a shit load of broccoli and 2 chicken breasts. However, I only do this on workout days, on non lifting days / cardio days, i eat protein and light carbs after my cardio session and then a protein shake only 2 hours later.

I would have a P + C meal after the workout. I wouldn't cram down a ton of carbs, maybe 30-40. Post workout your carb tolerance will be a lot higher, I don't care what time of day it is. Your body doesn't know it's late, it just knows it just got punished and needs to be refueled. It's not like your body says,"oh shit it's after 7, I better store these carbs as fat".
