A few questions on triceps...

My first question is, where are the three tricep heads? I only see two heads. One Long head on the back of the arm, and one head on the side of the arm.

Also, i need to work the head on the side of the arm (the head next to the bracialis). What exercises work that head? Maybe someone could explain hand position and how it works in working the different heads of the triceps. THANX

Nose breakers hit the long head
Pushdowns with a straight barhit the lateral(outside buldge)
Underneath head pretty much gets a ggod hit all the time.

Try Decline Nose breakers
Dips
Pushdowns
kickbacks

for maximum development

My favourite routine usually consists of close grip, heavy weighted dips, skull crushers, and overhead extensions with EZ curl bar

my tris blew up from doing skullcrushers (i usually do them on an incline, but i switch it up). i also throw in extensions, push downs, dips, etc. but i think the skulls really helped them a lot.

The long head originates from the scapula so when you do an overhead extension you really work the long head.

So alway try to incorporate and overhead exercise.

You also might close grip lockout(last few inches) and go really heavy. This will really stimulate all three heads. Use a power rack.

Would anyone be able to list the heads that get hit hardest for these exercises that i use a lot.

Close Grip Bench. I use this every workout.

Reverse Grip Bench.

Reverse Grip pushdowns.

Rope pushdowns.

French Press machine.
