90 days from honeymoon...help me break my plateau

***Progress Report 9/12***

Just a quick and dirty update here... Packed lunches for the drive down and back and escaped my "bachelor party" (football tailgate) largely unscathed.

Bit of a bad week for lifting/cardio last week due to work and travel. Did get a few cardio sessions in, but only one lifting day. Back on a normal schedule starting today.

Clocked in at 167.9lbs this morning. I'll try to snap a pic this week, but I don't see much change from 170 (nor would I expect it).

Let's say "summer break" has ended at work, and things are about to pick up big time the next 3 weeks (4 weeks until wedding). I might have to adjust routine somewhat and will lean more toward cardio if I have to choose between cardio and lifting on any given day. Made some slight adjustments to diet plan over the weekend for the last 4 weeks. Looking to drop additional fat, so I will switch up lunch meal from burger patty to chicken breast, and may drop the boiled eggs. This should reduce fats to about 48g/day rather than 60g/day with only a slight calorie drop.

Home stretch boys! If you have any final advice for these last few weeks, please let me know. Thanks!

advice? i would say keep going eating clean and cardio and keep updating us where you're at
 
While workouts are necessary, better results you will get with correct dieting, less carbs, more meet and veggies, intermittent fasting
 
I'll be at my folks that night. If I time it right I can hit dinner at home. I can do shakes in the car and I guess throw boiled eggs and a burger patty in the cooler. I've done the heat up the food in the gas station microwave before but it's such a miserable experience.

Needs must. You wanna be in shape for the honeymoon right?

Hit my goal of 165lbs this morning. Everything from here is bonus!

Mon/Tues work kicked my butt. Didn't get home until after 10pm. Was back in the gym last night about 9pm, so I managed to get 5 miles cardio in, and hit biceps and abs before they kicked me out.

Bros I have been so consistent on diet. I cannot wait to eat a taco and have a margarita LOL

Oh yeah, I got some stuff to work on. I lost an inch on my arms after my hip procedure I'd like to get back. I also struggle to develop lower lats. Basically get no development from rows in that area. Cycling isn't an option for me for multiple reasons.
 
***Progress Report 10/4***

Gents - Very possible this may be my last post before the big day this Saturday. I think I had just under 90 days when I got started and in that time dropped roughly 16lbs and toned up quite a bit. I just want to say thank you for all the encouragement and recommendations!

Since my last report, diet has been perfect, 4-5 miles cardio per day and have been doing longer HIIT sessions. Got 4 lifting days in last week. Lifted last night, and should be able to lift tonight, Wed, and a quick session Friday morning.

Over the last two weeks, even with no cheating in my diet, I did bounce between 164-166lbs. We'll see how things go when I return from our trip, but I'm not too keen on losing more weight. I will probably adjust to a less severe cut and try to stay in the 160's adding a little bit of muscle as I continue to cut bf.

Pics are from the morning weighing in at 164.2lbs. Very subtle improvement with my second set of abs becoming a little more defined. Shoulders/arms look good. A little bit more fat to burn off on the outside of pecs. Still probably have 3-4lbs to burn off of love handles I'm guessing.

When I get back.... I really need to work on lower back, including lack of lower lat definition, and I apparently need a bigger butt (I have lost so much weight I am sitting on my tailbone and it hurts!!).
