7 Weeks to a Shredded ME!...

because my back is very large comparitively speaking... my back double bi... SUCKS.. my arms, both bis and tris (mostly tris i think right now) need some serious growth for that pose to look proportional :rolleyes:

my suit jacket measurment is slightly lower than ur guess actually.

My jacket measurement is around 44 though... and i get tailored cuz they're meant to fit 44 inch bellies too, lol.

Well its not actually a new lifestyle... but taking it to the next notch so to speak :) Like lifting heavier and being a little stricter with my diet ;) Next time saay hi when you stop in ... I like visitors too :lmao: As far as EF... I am addicted :qt:

awesome! Glad to hear! I was a lifting nut "back in the day" and knew not one kernel or information about diet... came here after a few years hiatus from the lifting lifestyle and got back better than ever :)

EF's a quality place!

Sarge, were are those new pics we were talking about? Let's see some new ones. I'll be in town this weekend Al420 and we can do those pics if you want. Just no kissin'! I'm going to be posting new pics at the end of June and every month from then on. I think I might need to start one of these threads and update it everyday or so??? Sarge........pics man...pics. I think Al420 is going to get some up soon.
 
eh, i haven't made progress like before in a while, gimme a month at least damnit... i've been injured :rolleyes: lol...seriously though... haven't been able to train legs in a WHILE :worried: gotta figure somehting out for that but my lower back is pretty much good to go all around now i think.

haven't exploded yet... currently hovering over reminents of chinese food.

Terriaki spears, chicken fingers, pork fried rice all topped with duck sauce... previously ate some vanilla bean ice cream, threw some oreos for a kicker.

Oh yes... I am going to hate myself soon, and tomorrow. I can NOT belive how I used to eat this crap a few times a week.... i wanna hurl.. but it tastes so good, lol.

pounding water like it's my job along with seasapures and glucorell's as nessesary :coffee:

2)wheat bread sandwhich, low fat mayo, turkey
3)ON whey protein shake
4)3 chicken strips, 1 cup brocolli
5)3 chicken strips, 1 cup brocolli

If I get the munchies I have a spoon of peanut butter or a couple handfuls of peanuts.
This is around 1,500-1,800 cals a day, depending on if I get a little hungrier or not.
Any recommendations or changes to this setup?

Update:

Today will be Eggs & Fat free cheese alternating with Iso & Gator because i need to go buy food.

I don't feel like a total piece of crap from yesterday's final binge surprizingly... that's a plus :)

na, didn't release the beast... but I wanted to.

Literally felt like I was going to explode... like Alien III Style!

Hurt so bad I could barely drive away from the restaurant, lol.

No more cheating... strict cutting diet right now and for a while longer until I deem myself worth of bulking (somehow...leanly, or otherwise :rolleyes: )

update:

Diet: finely tuned like a V-12 la mans race car ;)

Water: averaging ~2.5 gallons daily now

Sleep: always up there, lol... 8-9 hours on weekdays :) I love my sleep.

having fun with cookin' and making up concoctions of egg, veggies and chicken in a huge new pan that I able to cook >3 lbs. of poultry at a single time :)

Training: getting in what i can right now in my basement set up... focusing on strict form and 8-10 reps now... and about 4-5 sets per exercise. Hittin' the gym this weekend most likely and back there next week fo sho.

Current Goals: Preventing more injury, building up chest, while leaning out more with on point diet and just clean foods.

Got rid of the pit hair myself right after they put the pulldown machine directly in front of the mirror. Big wake up call. :)

For tanning do the stand up booths to get rid of the white marks under your arms. I stand from now on and hold onto the handles to get an even tan. Plus I had a tendancy to fall asleep in the beds and had to have someone come in to wake me up a couple times. :)

Ok, excellent... my pits are doin' pretty dang good... wearing a kinda tight-T-shirt in which my pits would usually be quiet wet but they're not bad at all after analyzing them :)

Yup, I always use the stand up power booths, in and out in under 10 minutes, lol... although i have to duck down a little bit when i raise my arms to make sure i get everything in front of the lamps :rolleyes: not THAT tall but tall enough for it to be bothersome (6 footer).

hahahaha, that would be me too without a doubt, take a nap in the tanning bed... lol, funny stuff!

:lmao: Usually I tan at a salon but my gym has a free tanning bed with membership. I only used it a few times and this guy had to knock on the top of the bed to wake me up last time I used it. I went nuts. "Gettaphuckouttahere. Jesus Christ!" I'll stick to the booths from now on. If the tanning girl wants to walk in she's more than welcome. :)

It's a pain in the ass already but I guess if it prevents aging of the skin. :rolleyes: I used it once in college and had class right afterwards. Everyone kept commenting how it smelled like the beach in here. January I'm the only one with a tan sitting there trying to deny it. Bought the unscented one this time though. I'll have to look into seeing if any orals have the same effect.

We had a bunch of those Ryan Seacrest type "faags" walking around with the tan 12 inch arms in a tight t-shirt. One guy tried to correct me in the cafe that I was holding my fork and knife wrong when I cut my chicken. I told him he was gonna have a fork in his eye if he didn't stop. :lmao:

Diet, on point.. had a HORRIBLE food fit today after seeing some desert pics from a vacation album I was browsing thought today :rolleyes: Got over it, and did NOT eat what I wanted to.. had that angel *B* over my shoulder :)

Training has been going very well...
(Started training log journal today)

Legs got worked today! My knee held up... felt pain on ZERO weight leg presses :worried: Squats were good to go, kept adding weight... bar, and kept going up to 155lbs... ATF too... :rolleyes: I DO NOT want to have a busted knee, i'm too young for that crap, so not sure what is to become of my legs right now.

NOTE: Lifting scheme has changed from speed and power low reps to slow and steady and 8,10,12 reps.

Oh look what came with an Anabolic Fitness order recently ;)

my legs from gastroc up to my glutes are SOOOOOORE!

Feels good :evil: Haven't felt like this in a while, I have no idea when i was last able to work legs.

Did NOT want to get out of bed this morning because of the soreness.

Diet... is going to lack protein today, at least until I'm able to cook up more chicken and eggs later.

Need to figure out a training split I'm going to work with exercises and all.

I need structure now that i'm doing higher reps, Spending WAY too much time in the gym.

May take tonight off (cardio only?) and train chest again tomorrow ... going to set up my split to train chest 3x week maybe along with tris and bis too?

I need more ISO :worried: gotta downgrade for now sadly... giving trueprotein.com a whirl soon.

Knee feels like a newborns :D

Back hyper extentions: 3 sets (bodyweight, 25lb, 45lb)
Cable Rope crunches: 3 sets (40lbs, 90lbs, 150lbs/stack) ...wow do my abs feel abused right now, lol

I did a set of decline cruches with a 10lb plate... eh, no fun... bored

I need core work ideers!!! Anybody wanna hook it up... i'll do some research at a later date :)

Fun and exciting lower ab work would be great :) :coffee:

Time to cook up food for the next few days i'm outa errthiing :Chef:

You ever use one of those ab balls and use a 25 plate on chest and do little crunches..... always works best for me. I just read a study that said even with all these high tech gadgets to do abs BY FAR a crunch is the best exercise.

Training has been going very well...

Legs got worked today! My knee held up... felt pain on ZERO weight leg presses :worried: Squats were good to go, kept adding weight... bar, and kept going up to 155lbs... ATF too... :rolleyes: I DO NOT want to have a busted knee, i'm too young for that crap, so not sure what is to become of my legs right now.

NOTE: Lifting scheme has changed from speed and power low reps to slow and steady and 8,10,12 reps.

I think I'm going to invest in a stability ball... I'll also use it for dumbell work and uber-isolization (? or something like that, lol).
 
i usually stay away from the balls in the gym.....just re-read that hahaha. anyway, i always do hanging leg raises and then bicycle crunches. i do 4 sets of hanging and then like 2-4 sets of bicycle crunches...i try and do like 1 minute...rest 20 seconds and then go for another minute....if i'm feeling really loco i'll do 1 set of leg raises and then straight to bicycles....i'll do this non stop for about 6-8 sets.

maybe try this...
 
Ahh, good ideers!

I can do the bicycle crunches @ home too... hanging, i'll give a shot in the gym.... maybe strap some ankle weights on, or try to hold a dumbell with my feet together? :evil:

doing reg knee raises got to easy so i started holding it for a 3 count at the top...and bretahing out as hard as i could...and then letting it back down.....i can only do like 12 of these...really tough!

i've tried ankle weights and dumbells btwn the legs...... i feel it more in my quads then anything....but try it out...you may like it

I'm going to have to mess around with a wide variety of exercises and see which one's I like best.

Those rope crunches kicked my ass though, I like them for sure.
 
yeah...they are great too!! once i'm at where i wanna be as far as bf% is concerned those will be my main ab exercise...they get me super hard!

I HATE doing them, but core work must be done now that I have been enlightened... to prevent injury, and helps posture... too many positives not to do it year round, but must be changed up just like any other muscle group.
 
Bicycles with Upper Body Motion super'd with Scissor Kicks, start at 30 seconds each, 30 seconds rest, repeat for 5 sets ... you WILL feel these...

Hanging Pikes obviously

Ab Vacuums ... GREAT to help tighten the low back low abdominal pooch .. (You've seen my stomach, and spot reducing smot reducing .. they WORK )

I knew Ghede has killer suggestions that

Stability ball crunches .. I do these FULL extension …

I do believe in weighted work as long as your form is perfect, you are NOT pulling with your hip flexors / legs, etc … abs only .. dig your hands into your lower abs to FEEL them working if you must … abs are only boring until you start to see them working & see the six pack .. them you fall in love with them & get all types of creative (enter Ghede…) …
