Just over four weeks out from first show, rolled out of bed and took some pics so the posing is off (but the trainer has it well in hand when I'm awake). My skin tone isnt normally so red, I think it may be the camera

I have used quest Eq and prop, will have to look into the Masteron and Anavar if I can afford it in spring. WOW!!!!
 
any cytomel? may also want to drop the test down for water retention purposes...with those other drugs you won't be losing any muscle.
 
Thanks guys. Right now the back is still a trouble spot, I'm holding tons of water back there but I guess thats what diuretics are for..my sodium intake is off the scale right now too

I was reading your 5*5 thread other day and now I've started it, just adding 5 lbs per week to all movements, except deads and squats.

Would it be OK to add 5 lbs one week then 10lbs the next, then 5lbs and so on as just 5lbs per week on these lifts (dead and squat) seems feeble. Surely you must wack on more than 5 lbs!!!

Sorry to highjack the thread, just very excited at prospect of 5*5 working as well for me as it has for you
 
The trunks are tangerine, they are the ones I'm wearing on stage as no one liked the hunter green ones. The camera through the colour off a bit though.
I plan on dropping the EQ two weeks out and the prop a few days before the show
 
u look great bro. How much do u weigh? and how much cardio r u doing. Are u allowed to discusss diet (I understand if u cant due to trade secrets and all).
 
no I'm not using the 5x5 right now, too weak from the diet to worry about being strong right now.
As for the weight increases, its an effect that adds up over time, trust me, 5lbs over 10 weeks is a 50 lb gain, thats not feeble
 
I weighed 204lbs when these were taken. Diet is all egg whites, tuna, chicken, potatoes, and oatmeal. Doing cardio maybe 5-6 times a week on top of regular weight training

You look pretty big. I'm around 185 at mo (5'10") and I don't look anywhere near as big. Makes me depressed at just how much fat I must be holding.

You have one hell of an amazing ab and thigh pose!

The back is the only think I would say need to be brought up to the rest of you physique -- but once the water gets out of there, could be another story.

Looks like the QFS pgf-2a did wonders on your love handles. (I'm sure diet and hard work did most of it) but you really lost a tonne of fat of the midsection. Good work bro!
 
Abs are very lean for 4 weeks out. After dehydrating you should be right on. I'm really impressed with your chest. You should do really well unless some freak that nobody has ever heard of decides to show up. - cbeaks

I'm actually just under 5'9", but the small frame really adds to the illusion, i was only 135lbs when I started training, and 238lbs at 12% when I started the diet. According to the calipre test, I'm still at around 7% bf, but I am holding a ton of water

damn, give me your abs! Thats the only thing I have trouble building up. My bf is around 6 or 7, but I cant seem to build abs like yours. If you got any recomendations i'd love to hear it. Karma to you for all your hard work bro. You look great 4 weeks out, you'll blow the competition away from what i can tell.

I know what you mean. I am about 5'9" and everyone thinks I weigh 215lbs when I'm only at about 193lbs. Of course I don't look nearly as jacked as you do...Keep up the great work.
 
I'm pretty happy to be seeing veins in the abs and quads at 4 weeks out, cant wait to see what they look like show day
As for training them, I only do one exercise. I use a steep decline bench. I grab a plate, slowly lower myself down about 1/2 way to where I feel the most resistance, and slowly hold for a slow count of 5 seconds, then go back back up. Thats one rep, do a few sets like that

40butpumpin, I credit it to a few things, diet for sure, keeping the protein very high and enough carbs to feel full and still train. But I think the most important part was the contest stack. Quest has made a real believer out of me, that I've managed to drop this much bf and keep all my size

Looking great man. I said at week 6 that your legs were overpowering you. That is not the case anymore. You may still be holding just a little water in your lower back and legs - but your are 4 weeks out.

I can not wait to see your contest pics. and I would hate to be competing against you.

My trainer doesnt want me posting the exact diet as she makes cash from doing this, and her diet is obviously right on the money...
 
Fantastic work bro. Killer abs. One bit of advise if I may.

High rep good mornings to bring out the detail in your lower back and hams. They're the only part that's lagging behind. Everything else is awesome. You got 4 weeks which is plenty of time. And practice flexing your hams while standing -- hardest damn thing to do but it comes with time. If you can bring that up and then hit em with those guns and abs you can't lose. Have fun!
 
I can't wait to see what that upper back looks like when it's completely shredded in a couple weeks. Very inspiring, NS.

Looking much better! Really tightened up. You may want to drop both test and EQ soon. The test will hold fat in your back, I think its due to estrogen conversion. ( my theory) and its not all water. My back readings dropped 2mm the first week off test and EQ. The Masteron and Anavar should hold size the last 2-3 weeks. Remember, even if you drop a little lean (water) you will look bigger onstage. Keep it up, you are doing great!

Sounds good. Try doing high rep hypers with your knees slightly bent (knees touching quads not) this should give you the desired effect.

Man you've changed over the years! You have gotten seriously jacked. I remember that pic of you in the gym next to the mirrror, you are way bigger now.

You got your abs to come in nicely and still have gobs of muscle. You're doing something right.
 
Thanks guys, I have made some decent gains since I joined here, although this last year didnt work out the way I wanted. Thats why I cant wait to get back to bulking, I have some serious plans for bulking.

i usually do 5 sets of 8 reps, thats it for abs, but you add weight and trust me, thats enough.
As for obliques, never trained them before. I attribute mine to super heavy squats and deads with no belt(ie, I deadlift 550lbs for 5 reps, and 455 for 5, all raw with no belt), so they all have to work to stabilize
 
Amazing work NS. The difference between week 8 and week 4 is nothing short of phenomenal. Nelson's suggestion on Good mornings work but they hurt like a motherfucker especially at high reps. Where you find the time to work and earn a living? The preparation and training that goes into this contest looks like a full time job.

I dont know any but fyre knows a couple. I'd be happy with a top 3 in my class placing so I can move on, but I am definitely aiming for the win. That dballer is using gh, so it'll be hard to compete with his condition, but I'm not using it for a level one.

JG1, I'm doing cardio around 5-6x per week, 30 minutes each. On a few of my training days I'm hitting the weight at 3pm, and doing cardio at 9pm, on the off training days doing 30 minutes in the morning and at night. I'm taking saturdays off to heal
