Jerry Narron sends Harang to the hill

The Reds want to avoid a repeat of last game's result - a 12-6 loss to the Marlins - when they host the Marlins on Wednesday. They hope Aaron Harang can be the skid-stopper for them.

Dontrelle Willis brings a 1-0 mark and a 1.93 ERA to the table for Florida. He controlled the Reds nicely is his last outing, throwing 8 shutout innings, allowing just 4 hits, walking 2 and striking out 3.

Florida has been a disappointment of late, losing all but 3 of their past 10 starts. They have been averaging 4.3 runs per game during this stretch and 9.2 hits per game. Overall, they are 4-9 facing a Cincinnati team with an 8-6 record.

Florida comes in as a small road dog, as the line opened at 140 in favor of the hosts. The Reds, who are 8-6 this season, face the Marlins and their 4-9 slate. The OVER/UNDER has been set at 9.

Florida won at Cincinnati against the Reds last game as underdogs, tallying a score of 12-6. The combined score went over the total.

Florida's hitting hasn't been much to write home about, as they are averaging just 8.5 hits per game, ranked #14 in the National League.
