365x40 the Double Milk&20

I just am back from going to the gym and doing only one exercise.

After warming up I squatted 365x40. It took about 8 min to get there. The goal was to get 60. NO FUCKING WAY DID THAT HAPPEN.

On the way home I puked, and an hour later the stars I was seeing are just starting to go away.

I think I met Jesus too.

This was all the idea of my training partner who last Thursday did 600x60 in 5 min and thought it would be "good for me." He didn't mention to me that is wasn't until yesterday that he could bend his knees fully.

We're both going for 100 reps with our body weight on the bar after being inspired by Marunde's pupil hitting 98 reps in that video that was posted here last week. My partner is calling is a bonding experience. After today, I just think it is fucking nuts.

We want to do it in 10 weeks. I will post video of the attempt.

I've come so incredibly far with this guy, that I just shut up, nod my head a lot and do what I'm told. Sort of like with my wife.

Funny, that's what I said to the guy who always gives us shit for not doing any cardio. I've always said to him that if he got under the bar for 20 he would understand that squats are cardio.

Around rep 30 I couldn't feel my heart because the burning in my lungs was so painful.

Didn't video the 600x60. But I'm sure I can bait him into doing it again. If I call him pussy enough one of 3 things will happen.

1) He'll punch me in the face

lol, I would think that 600 x 60 would be a once in a life time thing. Something you did once, realized half way through that it was a bad decision and never want to do again. but at the same time now that it's over and you succeeded, it is something to tell the grand kids about.
 
obviously you're a beast, but that sounds bad imo.

Yea, I looked back at my first post, and I can see I wasn't clear.

Maybe next week I shoot some stuff if we go big again.

But the main film will be when we go for the 100.

Damn this really makes me want to beat that 315 for 20 i did about a year ago. After these 2 months of rest hopefully my knee is fully healed up and my back so i can give it a go.

I play soccer 3 times a week, train twice week (practice) and run 3-5miles when ever I can (when ever my schedule allows it). Cardio wise I can say I am above average. That being said I don't think I could do 20 rep squats with any decent weight.

Squatting heavy for high reps are in a league of their own.

There should be a 20+ rep squat EF club, make it a sticky, videos are a must and the weight must be a substantial amount related to the persons BW & 1 rep best.

How much percent of your 1 or 5 rep max would people say is a good weight for a 20 rep set of breathing squats ?
