but since you ask, I normally have pure protein meals before my workout. My carbs I have earlier in the day, except for carb-up days where I eat carbs with every meal.
After the workout I hit the simple sugars/whey and NO FAT
Maybe if you had it with a complete protein source such as meat, chicken, eggs or dairy, then it would be okay. The combination of bread and nuts will provide you with a complete protein source, but not that much.
