2 1/2 more weeks until puppy comes home!

Had a pure bred as a kid, one blue eye one brown, we would build snow forts in the winter and it would sleep all day inside the snow fort. It loved the snow. It would pull me all day on my skateboard. Wonderful dog, downside it is very hard to train and loved to run, need a large yard, will wonder for miles and not come home. Someone actually stole ours off its chain in the front yard. What a cool dog.

When a daddy dog has special feelings for his main bitch they do what's called the humpty dance and after a gestation period of approx. 73 days out comes baby.

Dude, it's listed on her pedigree....On her fathers side there are like 6 dogs that have been in "Snow Dogs" and "Eight Below". They have also been in other films and print work and the like. I have the AKC and CKC registered generational tree info. that gives the history back as far as eight generations.

I actually just tried to copy and paste a partial pedigree and article on them from the breeders site but it's copyrite protected.

Actually I talked to the breeder last night on the phone about shots, pick-up arrangements, etc... and I asked in more detail. Apparently she and the trainer/breeder (I think from Copperhead Kennels, but am not sure.) are friends and have been doing business for years by trading breeders, cross breeding between their best dogs, and trading litter picks to strengthen their genes and bloodlines. Cody one of the dogs that played Demon in Snow Dogs was bred with "Icelynd" my breeder's champion female because of the quality of each dogs bloodline to see what they would produce. I actually got my pup from their second breeding.

The way it sounds is that Sibe breeders are a tight group as there are really very few considering.

The breeder sent this yesterday. She is now 4 weeks old and weighs 5.8lbs!

Cool dog! I love huskys, my buddy had one in school. We also had a malamute . Hope you live were it isn't too hot.
